We recommend that you charge your device(s) at the end of each shift so that it is at full battery for when it's next needed.

Please note:

  • Devices must only be charged or powered using equipment supplied or approved by Tended

  • We do not recommend that you charge the device off of a van or other vehicle

How to charge your device

You'll be provided with a portable charging case that can charge up to 10 devices. This can be plugged into a mains outlet. The charging case has 10 USB-C cables that connect from the case to your devices.

  1. Plug the mains cable connector from your charging case into a mains outlet plug socket.

  2. Take your device and find the charging port on the bottom of the device.

  3. Insert a USB-C cable from the charging case into the device.

  4. One or three LEDs should now start to fade on and off green slowly.

    1. One LED means it's on charge.

    2. Three LEDs mean that it is both uploading data about usage and is on charge.

  5. Once secure with the LED(s) fading in and out, slot the device into the foam snugly.

Please note:

  • The battery life should last around 12 hours, but this can be shorter when working in areas with poor signal

  • It takes 6-8 hours for the device to fully charge

How to use a power bank with your device

You can also power your device whilst in use. To use this feature:

  1. Ensure the device is turned off.

  2. Press and hold down the middle button on your device.

  3. At the same time, insert the charging cable into the device.

  4. You are now able to use your device whilst being supplied and charged by an external power source.
