On the odd occasion, a device will alert the user to an error. Find out below what each error alert is and what to do if you're alerted. Let's dive in ππ»
There are two different types of error alerts:

Device accuracy error alert
Alert | Meaning | Action |
Three short beeps every 30 seconds
Positioning LED flashing red | Device's accuracy has dropped below an acceptable level | Wait a few minutes and make sure the device is in an area completely unobstructed |
Alert | Meaning | Action |
Positioning LED flashing yellow | Device is not receiving time information which is needed for use
This can happen if a device has been turned off for a longer time | Move the device outside and wait for 2-3 minutes
Turn the device off for 30 seconds then back on again |
Device experiencing an issue
Alert | Meaning | Action |
Three long consecutive beeps will sound every 10 seconds
Power LED flashing red immediately after switching the device on
| The Device is faulty or damaged | Device not to be used and swapped for a working one
Return the device to Tended |
Alert | Meaning | Action |

Power LED on and connectivity LED flashing leading to red flashing power LED
Can occur mid-switch on | Project information (data) too large
| Edit project to reduce data. For example, combine sites, stop unused sites, use fewer nodes when drawing geofences
If project changes are the cause, reset the device |
