Automated Summaries, TetraBot Chat, Automated Tagging, Automated Q&A Identification

Tetra provides four central AI analysis features to help streamline your research process: Automated Summary, TetraBot Chat, Automated Tagging, and Automated Question & Answer Identification. This guide explains how each feature works and how to leverage them in your research projects.

1. Automated Summary

TetraBot automatically generates a summary for each meeting or uploaded file that is transcribed.

Receiving the Summary: You’ll receive an email with the automated summary if you uploaded or created the event.

Viewing in App: Navigate to an interview, click the blue TetraBot button, and select Summary to view the generated summary in the right-hand pane.

Customizing the Summary:

• Click Configure at the top of the summary pane.

• Add, delete, or modify sections by providing a prompt to tailor the information that is included. For example, you can add prompts like “Generate a report on all mentions of KPIs or performance metrics.”

• Each user can customize their own summary by navigating to User Settings and adjusting their AI Summary Email settings.

2. TetraBot Chat

TetraBot Chat allows you to interact with your data and get insights or reports by asking questions directly.

Using TetraBot Chat:

• In an individual interview or across multiple interviews, click Chat with TetraBot under the blue TetraBot button.

• Ask questions, generate summaries, and extract insights in a conversational interface.

• For each response, TetraBot provides supporting evidence with clickable links to the specific moments in your data. You can turn these moments into snippets, tag them, or add them to insights.

Suggested Queries: TetraBot also suggests follow-up queries to help you dive deeper into your data.

Turning Responses into Insights:

• Hover over any chat response and click Add to Insight. TetraBot will automatically generate an insight report in your project, including snippets referenced in the chat.

• Navigate to the Insights area to view the report, export highlight reels, and share insights with others.

Chat Across Assets:

• Select multiple interviews or assets, click Chat with TetraBot, and interact with your data across multiple sources.

• Use the Threads tab to track previous conversations and see which assets were included.

3. Automated Tagging

TetraBot can automatically apply tags to your data by analyzing the content and using predefined tag definitions.

Setting Up Automated Tagging:

• Ensure that your tag definitions are written as prompts for a large language model. The clearer and more detailed the prompt, the more accurate TetraBot’s tagging will be.

• Go to an interview, click the blue TetraBot button, and select Automated Tagging & Q&A Identification to run the automated tagging process.

Viewing and Managing Tags:

• Once tagging is complete, navigate to the Tags section to view snippets associated with each tag.

• You can use these tagged snippets in further analysis, insights, or export them for reports.

4. Automated Question & Answer Identification

TetraBot can identify and match questions and answers in your transcripts based on predefined tags in your materials.

Configuring Questions:

• In your research Materials, select a portion of content and click the purple TetraBot icon to mark it as a question. TetraBot will look for answers to this question throughout your interview transcripts.

Running Q&A Identification:

• In an interview, click the blue TetraBot button and select Automated Tagging & Q&A Identification to analyze and identify questions and answers.

• TetraBot will match your questions with the answers found in the transcripts, generating snippets that you can review, tag, and analyze further.
