1. Screening Applicant Data
Programs can determine which application data should be screened in Thalamus Core. Screening promotes a holistic review of applications and helps minimize conscious and unconscious bias in the pipeline.
To screen application data, it must be processed through ERAS. For assistance with this process, please reach out to ERAS Customer Support.
Note: Application data screening must occur exclusively within ERAS. Cortex does not support application data screening.
Data screened in ERAS will display as Screened in Thalamus Core.
2. View and Modify Screened Fields
Institutions and programs using ERAS PDWS can hide specific application data fields from reviewers. These screened fields appear as Screened in Cortex and Thalamus Core.
Note: Changes to screened fields are made in ERAS PDWS and will automatically update in Thalamus products.
To view the settings selected in ERAS:
Select the Administration tab
Select the Screened Fields tab
Screened Fields display in Thalamus products as follows:
ERAS Screened Data: Screened data fields processed through ERAS will display as Screened in Thalamus products
ERAS Unscreened/Viewable Data: Unscreened data fields processed through ERAS will appear as normal, viewable data in Thalamus products
