Users can access the AutoPencil by clicking the calculator icon in the main navigation, using the AutoPencil tab on the customer record, or they can click the AutoPencil option under the vehicle of interest that needs to be worked.
Creating the Pencil
1. Access the Pencil by using one of the options listed above.
2. Click the Vehicle box at the top of the Pencil to open the vehicle window.
3. Click the + icon to add a new vehicle.
4. Select the status of the vehicle; either New, Certified, or Pre-Owned.
5. Follow the prompts continue building the vehicle.
In order to access the AutoPencil feature in the system, users must have the AutoPencil permission for the main navigation and for the customer card “hide AutoPencil” must be unchecked.
