New Features

LinkedIn Chrome Extension Side Panel

We're excited to introduce the MVP of our LinkedIn Chrome extension side panel, designed to streamline how you interact with LinkedIn profiles and Thrive. This release lays the foundation for a seamless experience, making it easier to view, match, and update candidate information directly from LinkedIn.

  • The extension now scrapes and matches basic information (name and LinkedIn URL) from LinkedIn profiles, performing smart matching to suggest either linking to an existing Thrive profile or adding a new person.

  • We've enabled the extension to intercept downloaded LinkedIn profile PDFs, allowing users to create or update Thrive profiles using accurate data from the PDF export.

  • Users can now see a candidate’s primary position directly in the extension, helping them quickly decide whether or not a profile needs to be updated

Feature Enhancements

Quick Add to Projects & Add to Lists

You can now instantly add candidates to projects or lists right from any People index card or profile view, thanks to new quick-action icons. This update removes the need to dig through menus for these high-frequency actions, making it faster and more intuitive to move candidates into active workflows. The streamlined experience also ensures the project selection modal opens with your top projects surfaced, and all actions respect user permissions for a smooth, secure workflow.

Project List View - Sticky Stage Bar & Easier Collapse/Expand

We've made it much easier to navigate candidate stages in a project list view! Now, the stage bar stays visible as you scroll (sticky behavior), so you always know where you are. Plus, you can collapse or expand any stage by clicking anywhere in the stage header, not just the chevron, making it faster and more intuitive to manage your workflow.

Company Filter Addition

We've expanded the company filter across the app to include a new "limit" option. While on the project details page, the identified references tab and the past projects tab, users can now filter people by their current, past, or both employment statuses at a company.

Event Form Usability Boost

The “Send to Candidate” toggle is now OFF by default, and “Confirmed” has been moved to the top of the event status dropdown to streamline workflows.

Quick Create a New Company

We have added the ability to quickly create a new company if it does not already exist in Thrive. The create action remains sticky at the top of the dropdown field, streamlining the process of linking experience records.

Clearer "No Results" Messaging When Searching in Side Panels

To reduce user confusion when viewing candidate details filtered by project, we've updated the "no results" messages across Notes, Outreaches, Scorecards, Events, and References tabs. Now, if there are no items for a specific project, you'll see a clear message with an option to view items from other projects, making it easier to discover all available candidate information. If other filters are applied or a search yields no results, the standard "No results found" message remains.

Full Experience Visible by Default

Users can now view the entire Experience history on a person’s profile without needing to click “Show More”—all records are loaded and displayed on initial page load, making it easier and faster to scroll through a complete work history.

Report Styling and Formatting Improvements

Reports now feature reduced header sizes, improved color contrast, and a cleaner layout. Experience and education sections are streamlined for clarity, scorecards only show star ratings when relevant, and the new branded end page adds a polished finish.

High Impact Bug Fixes

  1. Off-Limits Transfer and Employment Record Auto-Update: When the hiring company on a project is changed, Off-Limits protections (Current Client and Contractual Off-Limits) now correctly transfer to the new company and its employees, and are removed from the original company. For placed candidates, the associated employment record will also automatically update to reflect the new employer. All other employment details remain unchanged, and updates are reflected immediately.

This ensures employment data and Off-Limits protections remain accurate without requiring manual intervention.

  2. Auto-Expand Candidate Stages on Project: When you search for a candidate within a project, the appropriate stage will expand automatically to display the result, streamlining the candidate search experience.

  3. Analytics Pagination Fix: Resolved an issue where navigating through candidate analytics would unexpectedly return users to the first page instead of advancing through the list. Now, pagination works smoothly and users can browse candidate pages as expected.

In addition to the fixes above, we’ve addressed a range of smaller bugs and UI issues to keep Thrive running smoothly.
