Written by Emmeline Mellor

Thrive streamlines the Project creation process with its user-friendly interface, extensive global database, and insightful data analysis. In Thrive, you can start a Project from anywhere in the app with just the Project title and the hiring company!

Create a New Project

After selecting Create Project, fill out the basic information below to get your Project started.

  • Title of your Project

  • Name of the Hiring Company. This must exist as a Company profile in Thrive.

  • The team Lead of the Project

  • Additional team members of the Project

Sharing & Access

  • You can now set Sharing Preferences (e.g., Restricted vs. Open) directly within this creation form, ensuring the right security settings are applied immediately.

Once all details are confirmed, click Create to launch the project.

Set Project Details

In the details section of the Project items such as listing the Position Description, adding a Project Note or viewing Analytics of the Project are all possible here. Please click the Project title to view the options.

Position

A Position description can be created manually or using our AI feature. Utilizing the AI feature will create a position description based on the Hiring Company and Project Title fields.

Notes

Select Add Note to create a note associated with the project. This will open a slide-out panel where you can draft your note while continuing to navigate the project.

  • Navigation: You can now browse the project details while drafting your note in the slide-out.

  • Visibility: Use the Split Button to Publish. By default, notes are shared to Internal users. Click the arrow to share with External users (Hiring Managers).

Notes that are not shared are automatically saved as private drafts.

Strategy

Targeted Tags

To add Tags, select the + Add Tag button and use the drop down list to scroll through items or type in the first few letters to find a specific tag

  • Tags will feed into the AI powered Thrive features such as candidate recommendations and the Position Description

  • Tags also make projects more discoverable to other teams to support future work

Target Companies

Adding Target Companies ensures the team is focused on the companies that matter most to the client.

To add a Target Company, select the '+' sign and search for the Company profile. Click the '+' icon to add the company to the Targeted Company list.

  • The Target Companies selected will also directly impact the Thrive candidate recommendations. Employees of these companies will be ranked higher than other potential candidates.

  • After a company is added as a Target Company, it can be set to 'Prioritize' so employees of this company will be ranked even higher in the candidate recommendations

  • When a Candidate in the Project is an employee of a Target Company, there will be a visible target on their avatar indicating this

Benchmark Candidates

Adding Benchmark Candidates here will indicate to the Search Team what the ideal candidate for this position would be.
