The Team templates are the solution to ensure the AI notes of the meetings you and your colleagues record are consistent across the board. You can start by learning about our Meeting templates in this article:
Setting up your Team templates
When you open the Meeting templates section in your tl;dv account, you will see three main sections: Suggested templates, Personal templates, and Team templates.
In the list of Suggested templates we offer, you can find a series of popular solutions for AI Meeting Notes, with a preset structure and prompts. You can use these templates as they are, or you can make them fit your specific needs by clicking on “Set as personal/team template" and adjusting the automation criteria, the titles and the prompts for each notes section.
From there, you will either be able to set up a personal template or a team template if you are a Team Admin or a Billing Group Admin.
When you open the Team templates tab, you will see which templates are enabled per Team, and the automation settings for each of the templates as well! This allows you and your team members to:

Your meeting notes are consistent across different Contacts and Deals

No more taking notes in your meetings, no more manually filling in the CRM, no more sending updates in Slack, and now no more individual set-up! You can even set up Team templates to have everyone’s notes correctly aligned and are consistent across different Contacts and Deals.
Editing existing templates
You can always check which templates are enabled by clicking the “Team templates" tab in your Templates section, and you’ll know exactly what’s being applied for your recordings. These configurations can only be adjusted by Team Admins and Billing Group Admins - the Team Members will not have the possibility of making changes to the templates themselves.
My Personal template isn’t applying to my meetings. Why?
If your Team Admin or Billing Group Admin configured a Team template that matches the automation criteria of your own Personal template, the Team template applied will be the one that applies. Let’s imagine this scenario:
👉 Your Personal template automation is set to apply the GPCT model to External meetings, when the meeting title contains the word “Company A".
👉 Your Team template automation is set to apply to the CHAMP model to External meetings, when the meeting title contains the word “Company A" and when the meeting participants include john@companyA.com .
If you have a meeting with John, whose address is john@companyA.com, the template that will be applied the is Team one, because the criteria matches more closely to the meeting you just held!
More important information
The Team templates are not available on the Free plan or if you have an account with a public domain, since you need to be paid a Team to make use of them. Read more about it here!
The Team and Billing Admins need to have at least one Member in the Team to enable this function. See more about the Team roles here.
Only Team Admins and Billing Group Admins can set up Team templates.
It’s not possible to “duplicate" your Personal templates and make them into Team templates, you would need to reproduce your template manually or start from the Suggested templates we offer
