Team Auto Recording: never miss important meetings again
Manually deciding which meetings to record can be unreliable — especially in busy teams.
With Team Auto Recording, you can define rules once and ensure the right meetings are automatically recorded across your entire team. This way, important conversations are always captured, documented, and shared when needed.
Automatically record the meetings that matter
Instead of relying on individuals to remember to start recordings, you can standardize this process at the team level.
With Team Auto Recording, you ensure that:
Key meetings are always recorded
Important knowledge is consistently captured
Your team never misses critical information
Once configured, the recorder bot will automatically join meetings based on your defined rules.
Create flexible recording rules for your workflow
Just like privacy settings, Auto Recording Rules can be highly granular.
For example, you can define rules such as:
Automatically record all external meetings with clients
Skip internal meetings that include specific participants (e.g. leadership)
Avoid recording meetings with titles like “one-on-one”
Record only meetings that match certain criteria
This allows you to strike the right balance — ensuring coverage where it matters, while avoiding unnecessary or sensitive recordings.
How to configure Team Auto Recording
To set up recording rules for your team:
Go to Your Team > Admin Controls
Open the Recording Settings tab
Find the Auto Record meetings section
Define your recording preferences
Once set, these rules will automatically apply to all team members.
(Note: Team Settings do not override auto-record rules for Team Admins. This ensures an additional layer of privacy for leadership. Team Admins can manage their own settings in Personal Preferences.)
Reliable coverage, without the manual effort
Team Auto Recording removes the risk of forgetting to record important meetings — while still giving you full control over what should and shouldn’t be captured.
