Toast Printing Hub Installation for Toast Flex 3
Follow the steps below for Toast Printing Hub with terminal network printing for a Toast Flex 3.
Open the printer's back cover.
Connect the power adapter to the printer, then plug it into a wall outlet. The printer will power on automatically.
Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet In port on the printer, and plug the other end to your POS network.
Connect the Printer Power Plus Cable to your terminal base Power port, and the other end to the Terminal port on the printer, tighten the thumb screws.
Optional - Connect a cash drawer and/or USB accessories to the printing hub.
Align the bottom edges and close the back cover.
Open the paper compartment and load the thermal paper roll with the glossy side facing the status LEDs.
After turning on the terminal, the Power, Network, and Terminal should all be green.
On your Toast POS, follow: Printer Setup > Add or replace printer. We will guide you through the setup of your new printer.
Toast Printing Hub Installation for Toast Flex 14
The Toast Printing Hub has limited compatibility with Toast Flex 14. You cannot use USB-C connections or peripherals, and must connect the devices by immediately jumping to above to add the Toast Printing Hub as a network printer.
