To import tickets into Touchplan:

  • Note: Touchplan allows for a maximum of 4,000 rows of data to be imported at one time

  • Note: this only needs to be done one time for each project

Step 3: In Touchplan, move the Active Line in the desired plan out to the end date of the ticket import

Step 4: In Touchplan, import the MS Project .xslx file following the steps below

Determine the data source and define the parameters of the import

Check for any errors or warnings within the file

Choose an insertion point for the new tickets in the plan

Update matching tickets

Note: you will only be prompted to go through Step 4 if there are multiple tickets with the same External Schedule ID.

Add Variance Reasons to Completed Tickets

Note: you will only be prompted to go through Step 5 if a ticket from Step 4 was pinned in Touchplan.
