Importing your bookings into Tourmie is essential to unlock the full potential of the platform.

It enables you to deliver a personalized guest experience through your Guest Guide, while also activating powerful features like automated messaging, online check-in, and more.

Depending on how you manage your reservations, there are three ways to import your bookings into Tourmie.

1. Automatic Import via Channel Manager or PMS

If you’re using a Channel Manager or PMS, you can connect it to Tourmie for automatic booking import and real-time updates, with no manual work required.

How to connect your Channel Manager or PMS:

  1. Go to the Integrations page

  2. Find your Channel Manager or PMS in the list and click Connect.

  3. Follow the steps in the integration guide for your provider.

Once connected, new bookings will be automatically added to the Bookings page in Tourmie. Any updates — such as cancellations or date changes — will sync automatically as well.

😔 Don’t see your Channel Manager or PMS in the list? Get in touch with us — we’d be happy to explore a possible integration.

2. Booking Import via Online Check-in

With Tourmie’s Online Check-in, you can automatically create bookings when guests complete the check-in form.

This feature can be used:

  • Independently, if you don’t use a PMS or Channel Manager

  • or alongside them, to capture bookings from other sources, such as phone or direct reservations

It’s also ideal for collecting missing guest details, including:

  • Email addresses

  • Identification information (e.g. Tax ID, passport number)

  • Nationality and other key data

📘 Check out the step-by-step guide on how to create a check-in form and share it with your guests.

1) Automatically Convert Online Check-ins into Bookings

To enable this feature:

  1. Go to the Online Check-in page

  2. Select an existing form or click + Add Form to create a new one

  3. In the General Settings, turn on “Convert online check-ins into bookings”

  4. Click Update

From now on, each time a guest completes the form, a new booking will be automatically created in your Bookings page.

📌 Tourmie checks for existing bookings with matching guest details before creating a new one — helping you avoid duplicates.

2) Automatically Update Booking Details via Check-in

You can also enable automatic guest detail updates through the check-in form.

When this option is active, Tourmie will update any existing booking with information submitted by the guest — no manual editing needed.

Example: If a guest provides missing details like email, phone number, or nationality, these will be added to the booking automatically.

3. Manual Booking Entry

If you don’t use a Channel Manager or PMS, you can always enter bookings manually in Tourmie.

How to add a booking manually:

  1. Go to the Bookings page

  2. Click + Add booking

  3. Enter the guest and stay details

  4. Click Submit booking

💡 You can edit or cancel a booking at any time.

Manual entry is a great option if you only have a few reservations or manage bookings outside of a system.
