This guide is designed to help you step by step in the process of adding your Experience services on Tourmie.


Introduction to Services

Tourmie is an innovative Guest Experience app that connects hotels and vacation rentals with local service providers. Our mission is to enhance the travel experience by offering guests a digital guide with personalized recommendations and the ability to book services from local partners.


Types of Services You Can List

With Tourmie, you have the opportunity to showcase a variety of tourism services, enriching your guests' experience and making their stay more convenient. The main categories of services you can add include:

  • Transfers: Offer guests reliable and hassle-free transportation solutions such as airport or port transfers, private transfers, and taxi services.

  • Vehicle Rentals: Give guests the freedom to explore the area on their own by adding options for car, scooter, or other vehicle rentals.

  • Experiences: Create unique and unforgettable moments for guests with activities such as tours, excursions, cultural experiences, sports activities, and any other local experience.

  • Food: Offer guests options for meals, breakfasts, or special gastronomic experiences.

Tourmie aims to build a comprehensive ecosystem of services, helping guests find exactly what they need for a seamless and enjoyable trip.

How to add an Experience Service

Adding an Experience Service

To list a new service on Tourmie, follow the steps below:

  1. From the left-side menu, click on the Services tab.

  2. Click the blue "Add New" button located at the top right corner of the screen.

  3. In the next step, you will be asked to enter essential details.

Fill in the Service Details

Define the basic information and characteristics of the vehicle, such as category, type, features, booking and cancellation policy.

Service Details

Define the basic details of the experience, such as category, activity type, duration, and booking policy.

  • Title: Enter a clear, catchy name for your activity (e.g., Acropolis tours).

  • Category: Click the dropdown menu to select the type of activity that best matches your service (e.g., Guided tours, Boat trips/cruises, Bike tours, Wine tasting, etc.).

  • Duration amount & Duration unit: Specify the exact length of the activity by entering a number and choosing the time unit from the dropdown menu (e.g., 4 Hours, Minutes, Days).

  • Booking Type: Define how you wish to handle client reservations:

    • Direct: Bookings are automatically confirmed immediately.

    • On request: Bookings remain pending until you manually review and approve them.

  • Cancellation Policy: Select the cancellation terms that apply to this activity (e.g., Flexible, Simple, Moderate, or Strict).

  • Visibility: Check the Visible box to ensure the experience appears live on the platform for customers once saved.

Languages

Click the field to select all the languages in which you can conduct the experience and communicate with your guests.

Short description

Write a short description that introduces the experience and activities to attract customer interest.

Full description

Provide a detailed description of the experience, including activities, itinerary, equipment, and any additional information that will help participants.


Pricing & Availability

From the Pricing & Availability tab, you can set the price for the experience, choose the pricing methos and the payment method, create availability groups to link your prices and add extra costs such as food or beverages.

Settings

Set the pricing for the experience, including rates per person, group, or special packages.

  • Minimum / Maximum persons: Define the group size limits allowed for a single reservation (e.g., a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 15 people).

  • Type of Service start: Select how your activity's timing is structured:

    • Fixed times: For activities that start and end at specific, predetermined hours.

    • Anytime during time range: For activities where customers can arrive and participate at any point within a broader time window.

  • Pricing method: Choose how the base price is calculated:

    • Per person: Charges vary depending on the total number of individuals.

    • Per booking: A flat rate applied to the entire reservation with account of group size.

    • Group: Allows you to charge flat rates or tiered prices tailored to specific group size categories or ranges of persons.

  • Minimum advance reservation time: Set how far in advance a customer must book before the service starts (e.g., 24 hours before).

  • Select payment methods: Check the boxes for the payment gateways you wish to accept, such as Stripe, Bank Transfer, or Cash.

  • Additional Details: Use the checkboxes at the bottom to define special attributes for your service:

    • Private: Restricts the tour/activity exclusively to a private, specific group of persons.

    • Provided in property: Specifies that the service is reserved for usage strictly inside the property boundaries.

    • Adults only: Marks the experience as restricted to adult participants.

    • Family friendly: Indicates that the activity is safe and suitable for families traveling with children.

📌 Note: Selecting a Pricing Method

For services, the choice of method directly affects how the guest perceives the cost.

  • Per person: Best for shared tours, public activities, or experiences where your costs scale directly with each individual participant (e.g., wine tastings, cooking classes, or guided museum tours).

  • Per booking: Ideal for flat-rate tours where the price remains the exact same whether 1 guest or a full group joins the activity.

  • Group: Choose charging per group if the price varies based on the size of the group (e.g., one price for 1-4 people and another for 5-8 people).

📌 Note: Minimum advance reservation time

This field defines the time "window" within which a booking is allowed to be made before the service begins. It is essential for ensuring you have the required preparation time.

  • No minimum time limit: The customer can book even at the last minute (Last-minute). Choose this only if you have immediate vehicle availability 24/7.

  • 12 / 24 / 48 hours before: The booking must be made at least this many hours before the scheduled appointment. This is the safest choice for organizing your schedule.

  • 5 / 7 days before: Ideal for specialized transfers or tours that require special preparation or resource commitment

Prices

Set your price by clicking the 'Add price' button. The fields that appear will be predefined by the billing method you have selected.

Availability Groups

After setting your price groups, the next step is to define the availability of your service. Map out when your experience is operational and link it to your price groups.

  • Add Group: Click on the "+ Add group" button. A window will appear where you need to select the availability range (e.g., from January 1st to December 31st). After selecting the dates from the calendar, press "Continue".

  • Operating Hours: In the next window, choose whether the hours will be the same for all days of the week or different for each day.

  • Select Days: All weekdays are selected by default. Uncheck the days when the service is not provided.

  • Set Hours & Price:

    • In the "Available from" field, type the start time (e.g., 10:00) that your service will be available.

    • In the "Available to" field, type the end time (e.g., 22:00) for your service's availability.

    • In the "Select price" field, select the price group you defined in the previous step.

  • Additional Schedules: If the service operates during specific intervals throughout the day (e.g., morning and afternoon with a break in between), you can click "Add working hours" to add more than one operating schedule.

  • Completion: Once you have completed the settings, click "Apply changes". The availability group will now appear in your list, showing a summary of the date range and the days it covers.

Extra Costs

Add extra costs such as equipment, food, beverages, or other additional amenities of the experience.

  • Click the dropdown menu under «Extra costs» and select an amenity or add-on (e.g., Soft drinks, Buffet meal, Wine, Insurance).

  • Edit the chosen item:

    • Check «Optional for guests» if it is an voluntary extra rather than required.

    • Check «Collect online» if you want the add-on's payment processed through the platform.

  • Enter the fee in the «Price» field.

  • Select the «Pricing method» from the dropdown menu (e.g., Per item or Per booking).

  • Optionally, write a brief explanation in the Description box to detail what is included with this extra fee.



Meeting/route points

This section allows you to define the exact geographical stops, meeting locations, or route landmarks for your tour or activity.

  • Click the «+ Add point» button to create a new location entry.

  • Select Location: Type your location into the search bar (e.g., Acropolis, Athens, Greece or Acropolis Museum) and select the correct address from the dropdown list to pinpoint it on the map.

  • Type: Select the function of this specific location from the dropdown menu:

    • Meeting point: The starting location where guests gather to meet their guide.

    • Way point: Intermediary stops, sights, or landmarks visited during the activity.

    • Return point: The final location where the experience officially concludes.

  • Description: Write clear, specific instructions to help guests easily identify the spot (e.g., "Meet our guide outside the main entrance holding a blue umbrella").

📌Note: Selecting the type of the point added is required in order to submit/save the service.


Add Pick-up & return areas

This section allows you to manage transportation logistics by setting specific geographical zones where providers can pick up and drop off clients.

Pick-up Areas

  • Click the «+ Add pick-up area» button to define where an experience can begin.

  • Location Search: Type the name of the area or landmark (e.g., Syntagma Square, Athens, Greece) into the search box and select it from the list.

  • (Optional) Pick-up Time: Enter the specific time or window for the pickup in HH:MM format.

  • (Optional) Extra Charge (€): If this location requires an additional fee due to distance or logistics, enter the amount here. If it is included in the standard price, you can leave it at 0.

Drop-off Areas

  • Scroll down to the Drop-off areas section and click the «+ Add drop-off area» button.

  • Location Search: Just like with pickups, type and select the designated drop-off location.

  • (Optional) Drop-off Time: Enter the designated return time.

  • (Optional) Extra Charge (€): Enter any additional fee associated with dropping clients off at this location, or leave it at 0 if there is no extra charge.

💡 Note: This entire step is completely optional. If your experience does not include transportation, or if guests are expected to meet directly at the predetermined meeting point, you can leave these sections blank.


Media

Add images of the experience, locations, and activities to attract customers.


Add Images

  • Select file: Click inside the box with the dashed line ("Drag images to upload or click") to open your computer's search window.

  • Editing (Crop): After selecting the image (e.g., the Mercedes-Benz vehicle), the "Crop image" tool appears. Adjust the frame so that it focuses properly on the vehicle and press "Apply".

  • Restrictions: * You can upload up to 15 images per service.

    • The maximum size for each file must be 8 MB.

    • The recommended resolution is 2560x1440 with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Add Video

To give a more vivid picture of the transfer experience, you can add a video link:

  • Video source: From the dropdown menu, select the platform where your video is uploaded:

    • YouTube

    • Vimeo

  • Video link: Paste the video URL (Link) into the corresponding field.


Policies & Terms

In this section, you can define the specific age rules, unique guidelines, and legal terms for this experience to ensure your guests are fully informed.

  • Define Age Limits: Enter the age limits required for a participant to join this activity.

  • Special Policies: Highlight unique, activity-specific rules that guests must know beforehand (e.g., Not recommended for pregnant travelers, Please wear comfortable walking shoes, or No alcohol consumption prior to the activity).

  • Terms of Service: Write or paste your comprehensive legal terms, refund rules, or liability waivers that customers must explicitly check and agree to before completing their booking.

Don't forget to save your progress by selecting the "Submit" button at the top of your screen.


📌 Note: If you wish to offer your service to customers from different countries, the platform allows you to translate your content.
