Add Pick-up & Return Areas
The “Pick-up and return areas” section is where you define the geographical scope of your car rental service. Here, you determine exactly where customers are allowed to collect the vehicle and where they are permitted to return it.
1. Add Pick-up Area
The pick-up area is the location where the customer takes possession of the rental vehicle.
In the "Pick-up areas" field, click the button "+ Add pick-up area".
Type in your rental station or hub location (e.g., Athens International Airport).
Select the correct result from the dropdown list and click the "+" icon to add it to your active table.
Radius: The system automatically defines a coverage distance (e.g., 1,500m) around that point. This means a customer can search for or request a vehicle pick-up anywhere within this designated circle.
Extra Charge: If picking up from this specific location incurs an additional cost (such as an airport delivery or premium location fee), enter the amount in the "Extra charge (€)" field. This will be automatically added to the customer's total at checkout.
2. Add Return Area
Here you define the permitted locations where customers can return your vehicles.
Scroll down to the "Return areas" section and click the corresponding add button.
If you allow the vehicle to be returned anywhere within an entire city (e.g., Athens), selecting the city will create a large coverage radius (e.g., 13.5 km).
Attention: Anything inside the red circle on the map is considered a valid vehicle return zone. If you want to restrict returns strictly to your physical office or a specific airport parking lot, you can manually reduce the value in the "Radius" field.
Extra Charge: If returning the vehicle to this area requires an additional fee (such as a one-way rental fee or remote collection fee), specify the amount in the "Extra charge (€)" field.
Using the Map
The integrated map allows you to visualize your exact operational boundaries:
Use Ctrl + Scroll to zoom in and out of the map.
The red circles indicate your active pick-up and return zones.
Make sure your areas are set accurately so customers know exactly where they can legally collect and return the vehicle at the end of their rental.
Media
Add images of the vehicle to give customers a clear view of your Service.
1. Add Images
Select file: Click inside the box with the dashed line ("Drag images to upload or click") to open your computer's search window.
Editing (Crop): After selecting the image (e.g., the Renault Twingo vehicle), the "Crop image" tool appears. Adjust the frame so that it focuses properly on the vehicle and press "Apply".
Restrictions: * You can upload up to 15 images per service.
The maximum size for each file must be 8 MB.
The recommended resolution is 2560x1440 with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
2. Add Video
To give a more vivid picture of the rental vehicle, you can add a video link:
Video source: From the dropdown menu, select the platform where your video is uploaded:
YouTube
Vimeo
Video link: Paste the video URL (Link) into the corresponding field.
💡 Tip: Using high-quality photos (both exterior and interior of the vehicle) significantly increases the chances of a booking, as it inspires confidence in the visitor.
Policies & Terms
Define requirements for the driver, such as age, years of driving experience, and other prerequisites.
1. Define Driver Requirements
Set the baseline age and licensing rules required for a user to rent the vehicle.
Set Age Limits: Enter the standard Minimum driving age and Maximum driving age allowed for your fleet.
Specify License History: Use the Minimum time from the date of issue of driving license field to specify how many years or months a customer must have held their driver's license.
2. Set Specific Country Requirements
If your rental rules vary depending on the country of the customer's driver's license, you can create localized rules.
Click the Specific requirements by country dropdown field.
Type or select the country from the list (e.g., Greece).
Once added to the table, customize the following conditions specifically for drivers from that country:
Allow Bookings: Check or uncheck this box to permit or block rentals for license holders from this country.
Minimum / Maximum Driving Age: Customize separate age limits for this region.
License Duration: Set a distinct required license history time frame.
International Driving License Required: Check this box if travelers from this country must present an international driving permit (IDP) alongside their domestic license.
3. Add Warranty and Insurance Information
Clearly outline what coverage is included with the vehicle rental so guests know their liabilities.
Check the box labeled Warranty to activate this section.
In the Warranty description text area, detail the specific insurance policies, collision damage waivers (CDW), theft protection, or security deposit amounts associated with the vehicle.
4. Add Special Policies & Terms of Service
Use these final fields to communicate specific house rules, cleaning policies, fuel protocols, or general legal agreements.
Special Policies: Use this text box to emphasize specific, unique rules (e.g., No smoking inside the vehicle, No pets allowed, or Fuel return policy).
Terms of Service: Utilize the rich-text editor at the bottom of the page to paste or write out your comprehensive, legal terms and conditions that customers must explicitly check and agree to before finishing their booking.
Don't forget to save your progress by selecting the "Submit" button at the top of your screen.
