Support Using Intercom (Associations Only):
Intercom is a support and communication tool each Association will use to interact with their clubs
Features including Live Chat, Email, and Mobile App make Intercom an ideal tool for supporting each club within your Association.
Clubs are able to describe the problem they are experiencing, search the knowledge base, and be able to see screenshots or GIFs uploaded by the association's support team
The first time you sign in to Intercom - edit your user profile
Hover over the Intercom icon in the bottom left corner of the page:
Click your name to edit your profile
Fill out the form entering your name, title, social media information and most importantly - upload a profile picture by clicking in the box highlighted in red below:
Answering Intercom Inbound Messages:
When a club starts a conversation - you will receive an email, as well as a notification on your phone, if you have the intercom mobile app installed
You can choose to respond through email, mobile app, or using intercom in your computer's web browser
Using a browser, select your Association team from the ALL drop-down menu:
When an intercom conversation is assigned to your association team, using the dropdown menu - you can assign it to yourself or another team member
Once assigned, you can message through the chat or write an internal note to other team members if needed
Escalating Conversations to Level 2 Support:
Sometimes, there may be an issue you cannot resolve, such as bugs, usability issues, or a possible request for product enhancement. You can then escalate that conversation to Golf Genius Level 2 support using the same drop-down menu you used to assign the conversation to yourself.
