Hub Fields for Aggregate Hubs:
The following content outlines the available options when creating and editing Aggregate Hubs. For details on the options not listed in this article, Click Here.
Scope (Associations Custom Aggregate Hubs Only):
Association customers can create custom hubs that aggregate member club events. The following options are available:
Do not aggregate from member clubs (Default Options): This option will not aggregate Golf Hub Pages from member clubs. This page will act as a "standard" Custom Golf Hub and will only list Golf Hub Pages published by the Association or Multi-Club Organizer. When selecting this option, refer to the My Golf Hub - My Hubs Setup article for details on creating a Hub.
Aggregate from all member clubs: This option will aggregate Golf Hub Pages from member clubs that have been published and marked the page "Include in public Hubs."
Aggregate from selected member clubs: This option will aggregate Golf Hub Pages from selected member clubs that have published a Golf Hub Page and enable the "Include in public Hubs" option. When selecting this option, an additional field (e.g., Clubs) will be displayed, allowing you to choose the clubs to aggregate Golf Hub Pages (as detailed below).
Clubs (Associations Custom Aggregate Hubs Only):
Note: This field will only display if you have defined the scope as "Aggregate from selected member clubs."
If you create a custom Hub and select to scope to be "Aggregated from selected member clubs," this field will be displayed. After selecting the option to "Aggregate from selected member clubs", click "Select Clubs," and you can define the clubs included in this Aggregated Custom Hub (as shown below).
After selecting specific clubs, the Clubs section will display a total count of all the clubs selected to be included in this Aggregate Hub. You can further edit (e.g., add and remove) clubs by clicking "Select Clubs" (as shown below).
URL:
Aggregate hubs in Golf Hub offer the option to use a custom URL, up to 32 characters, for direct access (as shown below).
If a custom URL is specified, the aggregate hub can be accessed via that URL. To ensure proper functionality and uniqueness, the custom URL must be unique across all aggregate hubs and can only contain:
Alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9)
Underscores (_)
Dashes (-)
Validation checks are in place, and a tooltip will display if the entered URL is invalid.
Landing Page:
Golf Hub includes a landing page toggle feature, allowing customers to create a dedicated presentation page for their aggregated hubs. Enabling the toggle activates the landing page, which becomes the initial destination when accessing the hub's link. This landing page, also visible in the hub preview (as shown below), features a landing page carousel, title, search bar, and a list of sponsors. Notably, the search bar is scoped to the specific aggregated hub, ensuring search results only display events and leagues that are filtered for that hub.
Rotating Photo Gallery:
When utilizing the Landing Page (as outlined above), an Aggregate Golf Hubs Landing page includes a default rotating photo gallery feature for the landing page (as shown below).
You can opt for a Custom Gallery, uploading up to six images (maximum 6MB, in jpg, jpeg, gif, png, or bmp format). To upload images, follow these directions:
Click the radio button for "Custom Gallery."
Click "Upload Photos."
Click "Choose File."
Navigate to and select the image you wish to upload from your computer and click "Open."
Click "Save" (as shown below).
Repeat these steps to add additional images.
Click "Save" to apply the setting to the Hub.
The uploaded images are presented in a list, allowing for reordering via drag-and-drop Additionally you can remove an uploaded image by click the trash icon. The gallery displays as a carousel on the landing page and in the preview (as shown below). Note: If only one custom image is uploaded, the carousel effect will not initiate.
Important Note:Review every uploaded image to ensure that it does not impact the readability of the Call to Action or make it hard to see the search bar.
Call to Action:
Golf Hub's landing page feature includes an optional Call to Action field, allowing you to set a custom title (up to 38 characters). If left blank, the title defaults to "FIND A GOLF EVENT NEAR YOU." A custom title, once set, will be reflected in the hub's preview and subsequently displayed on the landing page itself (as shown below).
Theme Color:
Golf Hub provides theme color customization for aggregated Hubs. There are a few standard color options for the color scheme, as well as a color code picker where you can enter HEX or RGB color code values to find a specific color . This theme color is applied consistently throughout the hub and its event pages, affecting headers, buttons, icons, and text (as shown below).
Header Logo:
Golf Hub allows users to customize the header of aggregated hubs with a header logo. Users can upload a logo, which will then be previewed with the selected theme color as a background. Additionally, a "Logo Hyperlink" setting appears, enabling users to add a URL that will be linked to the logo when clicked. To upload a logo, follow these directions:
Click "Upload Logo"
Click "Choose File."
Navigate to and select the image you wish to upload from your computer and click "Open."
Click "Save" (as shown below).
Enter the Logo Hyperlink (if necessary).
Important Note: Review the uploaded logo to ensure it does not conflict with the selected theme color (if necessary).
Daily Digest (Associations Custom Aggregate Hubs Only):
Note: This field will only display if you have defined the scope as "Aggregate from all member clubs" or "Aggregate from selected member clubs."
When setting the Scope of your Custom Hub to "Aggregate from all member clubs" or "Aggregate from selected member clubs," you can receive a daily email. The daily email includes a listing of which associated member clubs, defined in the Scope for the Golf Hub, have published Golf Hub Pages to be included in public hubs, the name of the event, and links to view the Golf Hub Page and event page (as shown below).
When selecting the option to receive a daily digest, you can define which customer manager should receive the daily notification email (as shown below). Further, use the "Add Another Recipient" to add an additional manager to receive the daily notification email.
Populating Aggregated Public Golf Hubs:
Aggregated Golf Hubs are created by the Association or Multi-Club Organizer and populated by member clubs. Since this is the case, an Association or Multi-Club Organizer will not be able to take additional action on how an Aggregated Golf Hub is filled other than adjusting the filters.
However, you can inform your member clubs about Aggregated Public Hubs and inform them they should allow their Golf Hub Pages to be included in public hubs. Member Clubs can make their Golf Hub Pages public by publishing them and having the Include in public hubs option checked.
Member Clubs can publish Golf Hub Pages by going to Apps > Edit Golf Hub Page. Click the toggle for "Not Published" in the upper left-hand corner so it displays "Published." Then, they click "Click Here" to choose where the page appears (as shown below). Here, they can specify which Hubs their event, league, or clinic should be displayed in.
Member Club managers can also edit the default setting to control which Hubs their new Golf Hub Pages will appear. They can make this adjustment in the Customer Center by going to Directories & Registration > My Golf Hub > Settings. From here, they can check or uncheck the box for specific Hubs future events should be added to. For more details, Click Here.
