The Golf NSW mobile app is a customized app that allows players to view Golf NSW information, specific event information, register for events, check in at golf courses, and receive helpful registration push notifications. The mobile app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
In this article, we will review how the mobile app can be used by the players.
Using the Mobile App:
When opening the mobile app, players can sign into the mobile app or register to create an account (as shown below).
After signing in, the players will be directed to the Golf NSW primary portal splash page (as shown below).
From there, players can:
Edit their profile
View directories to access specific event portals (to register for events, view results, view tee sheets, etc)
View the Golf Link Handicap Lookup to look up current player handicaps
View the live scoring for any current events
When selecting the "More" menu (on the bottom right), players can view all pages from the primary Golf NSW portal which will include the order of merit, news feed, player dashboard (to view player participation history and other activity), and other information.
Push Notifications:
If push notifications are enabled on the mobile device, players will also receive notifications when registration opens or when registration is about to close for an event (as shown below).
