Generalized Event Roster Sync

Generalized Event Roster Sync is an integration that allows you to import an event roster from a source outside of our system. This integration works if you use one of the following products to collect online event registration.

  • BRS & G1

  • Chelsea Reservations

  • ForeTees

  • GGGolf

In this article, we will discuss how to set up this integration and sync events.

Setting up the Generalized Event Roster Sync:

To set up the integration, contact support to enable the integration option.

  1. Go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Integrations > General Integrations (as shown below).


    Enter the following information and save:

    1. Event Mapping URL:

      1. For Chelsea Reservation users, enter the URL in the screenshot above, but replace "myclub" with your club's subdomain.

      2. For Northstar users, enter the URL "http://[clubwebsitehomepage]/northstar/api/jso", but replace "[clubwebsitehomepage]" with your actual club website homepage.

      3. For BRS and G1 users, contact BRS/G1 for your mapping URL.

      4. For GGGolf users, contact GGGolf for your mapping URL.

      5. For ForeTees users, contact ForeTees for your mapping URL.

    2. Event Roster URL:

      1. For Chelsea Reservation users, enter the URL in the screenshot above, but replace "myclub" with your club's subdomain.

      2. For Northstar users, enter the URL "http://[clubwebsitehomepage]/northstar/api/jso", but replace "[clubwebsitehomepage]" with your actual club website homepage.

      3. For BRS and G1 users, contact BRS/G1 for your roster URL.

      4. For GGGolf users, contact GGGolf for your roster URL.

      5. For ForeTees users, contact ForeTees for your roster URL.

    3. Admin Username: Enter your Northstar or ForeTees Admin Username.

    4. Admin Password: Enter your Northstar or ForeTees Admin Password.

  2. Click "Save."

Importing an Event Roster:

To import an event roster, go to the event, then Golfers > Import Roster from External Website.

Select the date of the event that you'd like to sync with this event. If there is only one event on that date, then we will immediately import/sync. If multiple events are included in that date, then we ask you to select which event to use, then import/sync.

After the initial import/sync, the event will sync daily (at midnight). The sync includes:

  • Addition of new registrants

  • Removal of cancelled registrants

  • Updating of current registrants if their information changed (eg dinner selection, email).

You can always manually force a sync by going to Golfers > Import Roster from External Website.

Under the Golfers Menu, you will also see when registration is set to open, registration is set to close, and when the last import/sync was made. You can also turn the daily sync off.

Event Roster Sync Summary:

To get an overall summary of the events being synced, go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Integrations > General Integration.

All of the events currently being synced will be listed along with the last time they were synced. You can also turn off the daily sync here as well as removing the link between the events.

To see the syncing activity for a specific event, go to the Activity Log for that event.
