ForeTees Round Roster Sync

This feature is only available with the following products:

If you use ForeTees to collect event/league registration, you can import event/league rosters from ForeTees into a round within a league or event in our system.

Note: This feature should not be confused with Generalized Event Roster Sync. The Event Roster Sync imports registrants into the Golf Genius TM event/league roster. The Round Roster Sync (discussed in this article) imports registrants into a round roster within an event or league. This would be more typical in leagues with multiple rounds. In this article, we will discuss how to set up and use this integration.

Adding Players to your Golf Genius League/Event Roster:

When utilizing the ForeTees Round Roster Sync, you must first add players to your event/league roster. To populate your event/league roster, utilize one of the following methods:

Importing and Syncing Round Roster:

To import/sync an event roster from Lightspeed to a round within a league or event in our system, follow these instructions:

  1. Contact our support team to enable the integration (if it has not yet been enabled).

  2. Set up the Generalized Master Roster Sync integration (if it has not been set up yet).

  3. Go to the event/league where you would like to import/sync the round roster.

  4. Populate your Event/league Roster (as outlined in the previous section).

  5. Create rounds in ForeTees and your event/league with matching dates.

  6. Go to Calendar > Connect Rounds to External Website.

  7. Enter the ForeTees Event ID (located in ForeTees under the β€œID” column in the edit event table).

  8. Click "Save."

  9. Go to Rounds > Round Player Roster. Note: If you have not populated your event/league roster, you cannot continue.

  10. Select "Import from External Website," which will import the round roster from ForeTees.

  11. Create Pairings.

To see the importing activity for a specific event/league, go to the Activity Log for that event/league.
