How can I set/remove a Flash Message on the Portal?

Q: I would like to set a scrolling message on the portal. How can I do this?

A: There are several ways that you can set a flash message on the event/league portal:

From the Event/League Manager Site App Menu:

To set a portal flash message on the manager site, within an event/league, go to App > Flash Message. Click on "Flash Message" and you can enter a custom message (as shown below).

Note: You can also remove the flash message from the manager site, go to, App > Remove Flash Message.

From the Portal:

To set the flash message on the portal, open the portal, go to any section, and edit the "General Portal Setting." Here you will have an option to enter your flash message and click save (as shown below).

Note: You can also remove the flash message by returning here and deleting the message.

Event Dashboard (Events Only):

When working in an event, you can set a flash message on from the Event Dashboard. While in the event, navigate to the Event Dashboard and the Event Overview, find the Portal tile. You will have the option to set the flash message on this tile (as shown below).
