Event/League Dashboard

Updated over 4 months ago

When accessing a League/Event from the manager site, The Dashboard will be the first thing you see. The Dashboard presents you with a screen summarizing your League/Event and rounds details. The Dashboard acts as a centralized location to get a high-level overview of the league/event and manage tasks easily and sequentially with fewer clicks.

The dashboard is comprised of three areas. The League/Event Overview area contains tiles relevant to event-level information (e.g., players, multi-round tournaments, communication, and more). The Rounds Overview contains tiles relevant to round-level information (pairings, handicap analysis, reports, and more). On the left is the dashboard navigation panel used to switch between the Event Overview to the Rounds overview. You can also access other important pages (e.g., knowledge base, navigator, and more).

In this article, we will review the three areas of the dashboard in more detail.

Dashboard Navigation Panel

The Dashboard Navigation Panel will let you easily navigate between the League/Event Overview and Rounds Overview. You will have access to the Event Startup Wizard, Add Round, Customer Center, Navigator, and Knowledge Base (as shown below).

The "Create New..." option provides a quick way to access and create league/event or round level features depending on the status of your league/event (e.g., if rounds have been scheduled, golfers registered), as shown below.

League/Event Overview Dashboard:

The League/Event Overview is a great place to see a summary. You will have access to a high-level view of the League/Event through several tiles that provide further access to setting up your league/event (as shown below). Each tile is discussed in more detail below.

Players & Registration:

The first tile you will see is the Players & Registration details (as shown below). It will reflect how many players you have registered, and in the case of a team event, the number of teams that have registered for the league/event. If you are using a waitlist, pending registration, or deferred payments, these details will be shown as well. Within this tile, you can quickly access the roster, and take several quick links to Roster Activity, Access to GHIN to Update H.I., adding golfers, and registration details (as shown below).

Golf Hub:

The Golf Hub tile aims to bring awareness to the status of your events/leagues on the Golf Hub page. Further, you can create or edit the event/league page, publish/unpublish, copy the page link, access Golf Hub registration, open/close registration, and access flyers.

League/Event Overview:

Multi-Round Tournaments:

On the Dashboard, you will have the ability to see the Multi-Round Tournaments tile. This tile will only display the tournaments across multiple rounds. If you only have round tournaments, those will be seen in the round dashboard (discussed in further detail later in this article). You will be able to see the tournament, but you also have quick links to create new multi-round tournaments and multi-round linked tournaments (as shown below).

Brackets (Bracket Tournaments Only):

If you create a bracket tournament, you will have access to the Brackets Tile. The Brackets Tile will show each bracket tournament and give details about those brackets, including players, fill rate, number of regions, rounds, tournaments, and more (as shown below). The brackets will be clickable for quick access to the bracket setup page in addition to those details.

Communication Center:

As you communicate with your golfers, you can see all your emails and text directly on the dashboard. This will include information about the subject, how many recipients, and when it was sent. Further, you will have quick access to manage, compose, see delivery reports, and more for emails and texts (as shown below)

  • Emails:

  • Text:

Portal:

The Portal Tile will show the contact person set for the portal, quick access to portal links for registration and access, and the ability to change the league/event GGID (as shown below). Also, you have links to edit the portal, send a League/Event GGID to Golfers, and set the Flash Message on the portal.

In the event you are using SSO, the short portal address will be replaced with your SSO link.

Divisions/Flights/Teams:

The Divisions/Flights/Teams Tile will show the Global (All-Season and All Event) Divisions, Flights, Teams, and Groups (as shown below). Each Global Division will be shown with any flights or groups within that division. There will be a link to the Global Division/Flight/Team. In addition to that link, each division will have its own action to add team lists, player flights, or groups.

Handicap Analysis:

The Handicap Analysis is a simplified version of the Handicap Analysis page found by going to the Round > Handicap Analysis. In the tile, you will be able to use the drop-down to pick which net tournament you would like to verify player handicap. There is also a quick search to allow you to search for any player's name (as shown below).
