New Event Dashboard
______________________________________________
We are excited to launch the all-new, reimagined Event Dashboard! This new design allows you to easily navigate and view your event, and any round, in a single, easy-to-use area.
The pages and tiles are organized to display the useful information you need and allow quick access to the related features.
Event Overview
In the screenshot below, you can easily see how many players have registered for the event, what courses are used, what tournaments are created, email and text communications, and more.
Round Overview
In the example below, you can see that pairings have been created, tournaments have been set up, the Pre-Play Audit has passed, and the Handicap Analysis is accessible.
We hope you enjoy this new Event Dashboard as we continue to enhance the usability of our products.

Split Payments for Teams
______________________________________________
The new Split Payments feature allows the registrant to split registration fees among other players.
In the example below, Troy is choosing to have his partner, Mark, pay his own registration fee. An email will be sent to Mark and he will be able to complete his portion of the transaction by clicking on his unique payment link in the email.
A team is considered registered when at least one of the players on the team has paid their portion of the registration fee.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Player Names in Marker's Notes
______________________________________________
Before today's release, player names in the Marker's Notes were only available for player-based scorecards. We are now including player names in the Marker's Notes for team-based scorecards.

Report Composer Enhancements
______________________________________________
We are committed to improving ease of use throughout Golf Genius Tournament Management. With today's release, we are introducing the following usability improvements around the Report Composer.
Grouping Objects - We have added the Group objects functionality, which introduces a new action button on the left side of the design page. Select multiple objects, click the Group button, and actions performed will be applied to the group instead of one individual object.
Page Numbers & Print Date/Time - We have added three new fields in the Report Header and Report Footer areas, as shown in the page footer below:
Page Number
Print Date - the date the report was generated
Print Time - the time the report was generated
Keyboard Shortcuts - The keyboard shortcuts described below have been added to the Report Composer design area:
Shift + Arrows - move objects more quickly
Backspace or Delete - delete the selected object(s)
Shift + Click - select multiple objects
Selectable Area - ability to select multiple objects by clicking and dragging the cursor
These shortcuts are also available in the Page Composer and Scorecard Composer. Check out this helpful Tips & Shortcuts article to learn more!
Additional Report Composer Enhancements
Alignment lines now fully cover the entire report design area (both horizontally and vertically)
The cursor will automatically be placed in the Report Name field when creating a new report
Page dimensions are now included in the Layouts dropdown
Sort and Filter settings are visible on the Report Structure page
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Teams within Teams Competition
______________________________________________
With today's release, we have added a new competition option for the best team players scoring method (known as college golf). You can now choose the best pair or foursome scores within a larger team. This is commonly referred to as teams within a team or best team sides.
For example, teams of 8 players are playing Stroke Play Foursomes (alternate shot) as four pairs, as shown on the leaderboard below. In this competition, we are taking the best 2 Gross Foursomes scores (+8 and +13) and aggregating them with the best Net Foursomes score (+6), while throwing out the remaining score. This gives the team an aggregate score of +27 to par.
This has been a very highly requested feature and we are happy to bring this new way to score a competition into the product.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Resend Failed Emails
______________________________________________
A new link has been added to the Actions area of the Sent Emails page in the Email Center, named “Resend Failed Emails”. This link will be displayed if there was at least one error reported when delivering the emails to players. After correcting the issue (e.g. incorrect email address), you can click the Resend Failed Emails link to resend the failed email(s).
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.

Automatic Handicap Index Update
______________________________________________
With the introduction of daily Handicap Index revisions, it has become even more important for managers to keep the Handicap Index in the Master Roster up-to-date. Understanding this, we have launched a new feature enabling managers to automatically update the Master Roster daily with the new handicap revisions from GHIN.
To turn on automatic updating of the Handicap Index from GHIN, navigate to Customer Settings > Default Settings > Handicap Settings > Handicap Index Service and select the option. A manager may also adjust the time the update occurs, but we recommend the default of 3:00 AM local time.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Rounds Without Pairings
______________________________________________
Events and leagues typically include rounds with pairings and a tee sheet. However, there may be scenarios where pairings are not needed. This is often the case when a club implements the “play when you can” approach and lets players come to the course to play whenever they’d like during the day.
We have launched functionality to assist in the setup and execution of this type of round by:
Simplifying the manager site menus and tournament options
Bypassing the step to create pairings
Streamlining the setting of course and tees
Assigning individual player GGIDs
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Transfer Paid Event Registration
______________________________________________
In some cases, a player or team that has registered for an event may need to cancel their registration, but instead of being refunded, they would rather transfer their registration and payment to another upcoming event. To accommodate this scenario, we are introducing the ability to transfer registration from one event to another (without triggering transaction fees). This feature takes into account many factors when transferring a player or team, including:
Registration fee difference
Communication to the player(s)
Eligibility criteria
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.

Season Points Enhancements
______________________________________________
In preparation for the upcoming season, the following improvements have been made in the Season Points feature:
Rolling Dates - Season Points Categories may now be set to use rolling dates. For example, using a window of 12 months, the Season Points Standings will display the rankings by how many points each player has earned in all eligible events within the past 12 months from the current date.
Points by Specific Date - Managers now have the ability to view Season Points Standings as of a certain point in the past by selecting an effective date. For example, setting the effective date to September 1, 2019, will give you a snapshot of what the season point standings looked like at that point in time.
Additional Enhancement - The ability to award season points manually to standings that have not yet awarded any points.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.
Enter Scores Enhancements
______________________________________________
The following features have been added to the Enter Scores page:
Gross & Net Score Preview - We have improved the preview functionality when entering scores by displaying both the Net and Gross Scores preview simultaneously. This is especially useful in Gross/Net scenarios as it allows you to see the scores and aggregation of results (e.g., best ball of the team) quickly.
Filter by Course or Division - For larger events, the Enter Scores page can become very long and can contain pairing groups that are not relevant to the manager entering or checking scores. To accommodate this scenario, the visible pairing groups can now be filtered by division and/or course.
For full details, refer to our Knowledge Base article.

GHIN Update for Large Player Rosters
______________________________________________
Before this release, when updating the Handicap Indexes from GHIN for a player roster larger than 1,000 players, the update would take a very long time to complete. This has been greatly improved and very large player rosters will now update at a much faster pace. You will now be taken to a progress page, but may navigate away from it to perform other tasks while the update finishes.
Additional Enhancements
