How to add the carriers and detect the carrier again?

How to fix orders that show pending? How to set the carriers?

Updated over a week ago

Note: You don't have to follow this article to set the carrier If you have no idea about the carrier. Just leave your carrier list blank for the meantime.

Our system will match the orders to the carrier based on the tracking number's format when you fulfilled the orders. Once you see which carriers are used, then you can enable the carrier at that time.

After tracking numbers have been added to your store and synced to Track123, you may find that some of your orders always stay in pending status or are not updated. That's because the orders are matched to the incorrect carriers. To fix this issue, please follow the steps below to set the carrier and fix pending orders.

Add the carriers you use

  1. Track123 > Orders > Carrier matching

  2. Click on Choose carrier to add/remove carriers. Make sure to only add the carriers that you use. This is to avoid having the order be matched to a different carrier that has the same format as the right one.

Note:If you use Dser or Aliexpress to fulfill your product, please only enable Cainiao to the Active list and select "Only detect frequently used carriers".

  3. Click on Apply to Pending Orders, and allow the system to sync the orders to the right carriers.

When you click Apply to Pending Orders, Track123 will re-match all orders with status Pending based on the active carriers you’ve set. After the orders match the correct carriers, the app will get the shipping information from the carriers’ official websites, and the orders’ status will start to update. Please allow several minutes for the system to fully sync the latest updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I enable the option Detect frequently used carriers?

If you are not sure if you have added all the carriers you work with, then please turn this off to make sure that the system will still detect other carriers when needed.

Is carrier detection automatic?

Yes, Track123 automatically detects carriers based on tracking numbers. You can override incorrect carrier assignments manually.

Does enabling all carriers improve tracking accuracy?

No. Limiting your carrier list to those you actively use ensures better matching and avoids clutter.

How can I find out which carriers are supported?

Check the Carrier Matching section in the app to view all available carriers for your account.

What is Auto-Correction?

Please check this article to know how this feature works.

Best Practices for Carrier Selection

  • Only add carriers that you actively use. Adding every possible carrier may dilute tracking accuracy and cause additional matching errors.

  • Enable the “Only detect frequently used carriers” setting if your carrier list is complete. Disable this feature if you are still adding to your list, to allow automatic detection of occasional carriers.

  • Turn on Carrier auto-correction which helps improve the chance of finding tracking updates by automatically checking other possible carriers.
