This guide walks you through a safe and complete uninstall, step by step.
Option 1: Uninstall from inside the TrackifyX app (Recommended)
Open TrackifyX from your Shopify Admin.
Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner.
Click Uninstall.
Confirm the action.
Option 2: Uninstall from Shopify Apps page
If you cannot access the app interface:
Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps
Find TrackifyX in the Installed Apps list
Click the three-dot menu (⋯)
Click Uninstall
This removes the app, but you must still check for leftover tracking pixels (see next step).
Final Step: Remove TrackifyX Custom Pixel
After uninstalling the app, always verify that no backup tracking script remains.
How to check and delete the custom pixel:
Go to Shopify Admin → Settings
Click Customer events
Open the Custom pixels tab
Look for Trackify (or TrackifyX backup script)
If found:
Click the three-dot menu (⋯)
Click Delete
Confirm
✅ Once deleted, no Trackify tracking code remains on your store.
