How to manage Profile, Connected Programmes and Credit cards

How to manage your TravelSmarter profile, including connecting airline programs, setting a primary program, adding credit cards, and updating your travel preferences and flight history.

How to Manage Your Profile

The Profile page is your account hub. It shows your personal details, connected airline programmes, linked credit cards, frequent airports, flight history, and travel preferences - all in one place.

For accessing your profile click Profile in the left-hand navigation menu. Your profile page loads with your name, email address, membership duration, and current status tier displayed at the top.

Total Points Balance and Next Tier Progress:

A summary banner at the top shows your Total Points Balance and a progress bar showing your percentage progress towards the next tier.

Connected Programmes:

The Connected Programs section lists all the airline loyalty programmes you have linked. For each programme, you can see the programme name and tier, Member ID, Points/Miles balance, Tier Progress percentage, and Active status indicator. Click Edit to update a programme's details, or click + Add to connect a new programme.

Primary Programme:

The Primary Program panel shows which programme is set as your default for earning points. Partner flight points are credited to this programme automatically. You can change the primary programme by clicking a different programme in the list.

Credit Cards:

The Credit Cards section displays any credit cards you have linked to your profile. These help TravelSmarter recommend the best ways to earn points on everyday spending.

How to add a card:

  • In the Credit Cards section, click + Add Your First Card.

  • A pop-up window labelled Add Credit Card appears, showing a curated list of travel credit cards including BA Amex Premium Plus, Barclaycard Avios Plus, Platinum Card (Amex), Sapphire Reserve (Chase), Emirates Skywards Mastercard, and Virgin Atlantic Reward+.

  • Click the card you want to add. It will be saved to your profile.

  • Click Close to dismiss the pop-up.

Hotel Programmes:

The Hotel Programs section shows connected hotel loyalty schemes. If no hotel programmes are linked, a message reads "No hotel programs connected" with an Add your first hotel program link.

Frequent Airports:

The Frequent Airports section tracks your most-visited airports automatically. You can also manually add an airport by clicking + Add Airport.

Flight History:

The Flight History section shows summary statistics including Total Flights, Total Points earned, Tier Points, and Current Streak, plus a list of recent flights.

Travel Preferences:

The Travel Preferences section shows your Traveller Type (e.g. Leisure Traveller) and Preferred Cabin (e.g. Economy). These influence Smart Search results and Smarter Advisor recommendations.
