Tier Points and miles typically appear within 3–7 days of your flight completing. For BA Holidays packages, base Tier Points credit within approximately 7 days, extra Tier Points within 24–72 hours, and bonus Avios within 4–6 weeks.

TravelSmarter does not automatically sync with airline systems in real time. You need to manually update your balance by going to your Profile or Loyalty Wallet, clicking Edit next to your programme, and entering your current balance.

Tier Points determine your elite status level - they count towards reaching and maintaining tiers like Silver, Gold, or Platinum. Miles or Avios are your redeemable loyalty currency - they can be spent on flights, upgrades, and other rewards. Both are earned on eligible flights but serve different purposes.

Your points-per-dollar rate shows how efficiently you are earning loyalty value per pound or dollar spent on flights. You can see this in your Analytics page.

The Free plan allows 1 connected programme. Premium allows up to 3, and Pro allows unlimited programmes. You can connect programmes in your Profile under Connected Programs.

TravelSmarter currently supports British Airways and American Airlines as primary connected programmes.

The Global Calculator and Smart Status Matcher cover a wider range of oneworld alliance programmes.

Your Primary Programme is the loyalty scheme that partner flight points are credited to by default. You can change this in your Profile and can still choose a different programme for individual flights.

Hotel loyalty programmes are available on the Pro plan. You can add hotel programmes in your Profile under Hotel Programs.

Your specific reset date is shown on the Status page next to your progress bar.

If you do not earn enough Tier Points before your reset date, your status will be downgraded to the tier your points qualify for. TravelSmarter shows how many days remain until your reset on the Dashboard and Status page so you can plan accordingly.

British Airways elite tiers map to oneworld alliance tiers - BA Silver = oneworld Ruby, BA Gold = oneworld Sapphire, and BA Gold Guest List = oneworld Emerald. oneworld status gives you benefits across all oneworld member airlines.

A goal is flagged as "at risk" when your current earning pace is not sufficient to reach the target by the deadline. Use the Smart Status Matcher for recommendations on how to get back on track.

Yes, premium and Pro plans support unlimited simultaneous goals. The Free plan allows one active goal at a time.

Premium plan users get 10 Smart Searches per month. Pro plan users get 20. Free plan users do not have access to Smart Search. See the Pricing Plans article for a full comparison.

Some airlines and fare types do not earn Tier Points on British Airways or American Airlines programmes. Non-partner airlines, basic economy fares, or flights operated by carriers outside the oneworld alliance will typically show 0 Tier Points.

Go to Settings in the top navigation bar and select Subscription. From there you can view available plans and upgrade.
