This article is for users that downloaded the agreement, had it signed outside of Tressl, and need to upload it to continue the process.
Step 1: Within the project, you will find a "Recommended Action" at the top of the screen, click to go directly into the agreement.
Step 2: Once you have clicked on the "Recommended Action" you will be within the agreement. On the bottom right you will see "Approve for signature" - click this to move forward in the stepper.
IF: If this button is not clickable, it means there is a required field missing. You can find what needs to be done in the top right corner as it will state "required action." Click on the "required action" to be brought directly to the missing field. To get past this, you will need to fill out the Field Representative information.
Note that this will not affect the final agreement if you are uploading a separate copy***
NOTE FOR BROKERS: After selecting "approve for signature" you will have the choice to "Sign on behalf of your client" or "send to client for signature." CLICK "SIGN ON BEHALF OF YOUR CLIENT" which will bring you to step 3, giving you access to "download and sign."
Step 3: Once you have clicked "approve for signature" you will be prompted to sign the document. Since you have already signed/obtained required signature(s), click "download and sign," found on the bottom of the page, to advance to the next part of the stepper.
Note: Keep this function in mind for future agreements as this is the easiest way to download an agreement for manual to be manually executed.
Step 4: You are at the last step! You now have access to the "Upload Partially-Executed Agreement" function. This is where you will upload your signed copy! Once you do so, the "send agreement" button (to the bottom right) will become clickable. Click "send agreement" to send the uploaded copy to the approving organization.
Voila! The agreement is now partially-executed and enroute to its approver.
I hope this article helps you use Tressl to its best abilities! Please let us know any feedback you may have, and don't hesitate to reach out with any further questions!
