💬Project Chat Tool

Read this short article to see how easy it is to communicate within Tressl!

Updated over 9 months ago

Using the "Project Chat" tool is the easiest way to communicate - no more hunting down emails and phone numbers! It is project specific and provides a direct way to communicate both internally and externally. Whether you need to modify an agreement, request a revision, follow up on your project, cancel an agreement, request a rush, or talk with your team, project chat provides you with the tools to communicate effectively and efficiently.

How it works:

When you are inside a project/application, you will see a green chat icon on the top right, click to begin chatting. The chat will automatically be associated with the project/agreement you are in, so there is no room for miscommunication about which agreement/project you are wanting to discuss. Here's a screenshot of how to do so:

After clicking on the chat icon the chat box will open. On the left you will see "Internal Channels" and "External Channels" - Click accordingly.

In the screenshot below, you can see all the project details circled in red, which can be found at the top of the chat.

Use the chat box below to send messages internally (within review groups) or to the approver/ applicant pertaining to the project.

In the chat box you can also download and export the chat. Once you click on the export button on the top right corner, the chat will be saved into a .pdf format.

Now you are ready to start chatting! I hope you found this helpful. Please reach out if you need any further assistance at support@tressl.ca or through the support chat at the bottom right corner.
