Break rules will be applied to shifts based on the contract type, job title, and age limits set. They are only applied to shifts categorised under 'Worked' or 'Overtime' hour types.
Go to Break Rules in the configuration(the cog icon in the top right-hand corner).
Click on the Create Break Rule button.
Set up the break rule and click Create.
To apply this break rule to the rotas, go to General Settings in the configuration, navigate to the Scheduling & Timesheets section, and select 'Applied Automatically' in the Break Management Mode.
You will now see that the break is automatically applied to the shifts according to the rule.
