We’re excited to announce the final product update of the year! This release introduces powerful new features to enhance your workflow, improve scheduling, and give you more flexibility in how you use Truckbase.
1. Submit Driver Time Off & Mark Equipment Out of Service (Video)
Submit driver time off and mark equipment as out of service directly from the dispatch page.
Calendar automatically blocks these drivers and equipment as unavailable on the calendar.
Receive alerts when attempting to assign trips to unavailable drivers or equipment if dispatch warnings feature is enabled.
Do you want access to the Dispatch Warning feature (Beta)? Please contact support to get this turned on for you.
2. More Table Enhancements (Video)
Check out these new table enhancements, giving you greater control and customization to view the data you want.
Auto-Adjusted Column Widths:
Column widths on the Orders and Dispatch tables now auto-adjust to display more information.
Manually resize columns as needed for a customized view (note: manually resize changes are not saved).
Saved Filters:
When you select a filter on the All Orders or All Trips table tabs, the filter is automatically saved. This means you no longer need to reselect your preferred filters each time you access these tables.
To have a filter be saved on a saved view, select the desired filters from the "More Filters" section and click Save view. The selected filters will be retained for that specific saved view.
New Quantity Column:
Add a new Quantity column to the Orders and Trips tables for better visibility of commodities.
Updated Date Filters Options:
You now have more date options to filter by ...
today
tomorrow (new)
yesterday (new)
today & tomorrow (new)
this week (new)
next week (new)
previous week
last month
year-to-date
Create saved views with specific date ranges, such as today & tomorrow’s pickups or deliveries.
Reminder: A week is defined from Monday to Sunday in Truckbase.
3. Email Driver Settlements (Video)
Send an email copy of the settlement directly to driver after marking settlement as paid.
Access the send option from the paid settlements section via the three dots menu.
4. New Unit Type: % of Linehaul (Video)

Using % of Linehaul will allow you to set rates based on a percentage of your default rate you selected in your accounting settings.
5. Hours of Service (Video)
View hours of service for drivers connected to an ELD directly on the calendar view to ensure drivers are adhering to regulations.
