1. Calendar View Options (Video)
We've added more customizable calendar view options that allow you to view more (or less) information on the calendar.
What's new:
Compact vs. comfortable view: You can now toggle a compact view of the calendar in order to see more loads per page.
Stacking vs. overlapping view: You can now toggle a "stacking view" of the calendar, so each new load shows on a new row.
Quick edit on the calendar: You can now quickly change dispatches from the trip pop-up on the calendar.
Time off edits: You can now view/edit time-off details (including hours for partial days off) by clicking on calendar tiles.
How to enable:
You can toggle your calendar settings via the new settings icon on the trip right of the calendar.
Quick edits are available by mousing over a calendar tile and clicking the pencil icon next to driver, truck, or trailer.
2. Notifications (Pro Tier) - Beta feature (Video)
We've added a new Notifications Feed to Truckbase. With this beta feature, admins and dispatchers will be notified on various updates to loads.
What you can currently configure as notifications:
Driver confirms, accepts, or rejects dispatch
Driver uploads document/photo to a trip
Driver update trip status
Driver leaves a note on a trip
Customer submits order request via portal
Customer sends load tender via EDI
How to enable:
Contact support@truckbase.com if you'd like to activate this feature.
Go to Settings > Notifications to toggle which notifications you'd like to use.
There are two limitations for this early access featre:
The notifications are set globally for all dispatchers and admins -- they cannot yet be configured by user.
The notification only appear while using the web/desktop application. They do not provide push notifications to mobile.
3. Bulk + customized duplication (Pro Tier) (Video)
Users can now duplicate up to 20 loads at a time and customize which fields you'd like to include/exclude when copying.
How to enable:
Go to Duplicate on a load, select which fields you'd like to include, and select commonly edited fields on a preview page before confirming.
To set your default duplication options, go to Settings > App Settings > Orders and Trips > Duplication Settings.
4. Order Quotes Updates (Pro Tier) - Beta Feature (Video)
We've made several updates to our Order Quotes beta feature. If you'd like to enable quotes on your account, please contact support@truckbase.com.
What's included
Generating Quote PDFs (with options for default disclaimers and detailed pricing or summary pricing)
Emailing Quotes to customers
Tags on quotes
Write-in estimated miles on quotes
Duplicating Quotes (from another Quote or from an Order)
Convert an Order back to a Quote
5. Other improvements
We're always making multiple smaller improvements with each release. Here are a few "minor highlights" with this update:
The ability to add Custom Order fields to invoices (e.g., PO Number, BOL Number, Project Number, or Reefer Temp)
Improvements to the Order CSV import to allow importing orders with partial addresses
Commodities moved to the top of the Trip Manifest for quick access
Improvements to the dropdown selector on commodities
New app setting to text driver when new docs are uploaded to a trip
