Calendar updates (demo)
Drag & Drop
You can now drag and drop trips on the calendar to reassign them between drivers or assets. Additionally, you can click and drag to adjust times/dates for a trip, and you can move a trip between days.
Click to create
Click to create on the calendar allows for a quick shortcut to load creation from the calendar view, in addition to driver time off or equipment work orders for when they're out of service.
Calendar Sorting
Calendar Sorting now allows you to sort drivers, trucks, trailers, or carriers alphabetically by the number of trips assigned or by equipment sub-types. This can be used to sort by available versus dispatched assets, or grouped by equipment capabilities.
Pop-up improvements
We improved the calendar pop-ups and made them flexible so you can configure clicking on a tile to open the preview or the full overlay.
Settlements updates
We have multiple new settlement capabilities coming out, enabling more flexible driver pay configurations with better tracking.
Reserves and Advances (demo)
You can now configure "rollover accounts," such as driver escrow or advances for maintenance work. Use these accounts to track withholdings by driver or owner operator and schedule recurring deductions.
Scheduled Deductions (demo)
You can now schedule pay deductions on a regular cadence, such as the first settlement of the month, of the quarter, or of the year, in addition to deductions that appear on every settlement.
Driver Pay Rules (demo)
Our new driver pay rules allow for flexible driver pay configurations, dynamically applying flat rate or per-mile or per-stop bonuses. Automatically apply these based on a load's attributes and review/override them in the settlements builder.
Settlement Formatting (demo)
Choose between multiple settlement format options (Legacy, Compact, Horizontal). And, select which fields to show/hide on your settlement templates. Existing settlements are not impacted, but you can make adjustments by going to App Settings > Settlements.
Support Trips + Pilot Dispatch (demo)
When you need to share dispatch information to additional drivers or assets to a load that are not hauling the commodity (e.g., pilots, bucket trucks, etc.), we have a new capability for adding support trips.
Support trips are secondary trips attached to a primary trip that allow you to dispatch additional drivers via text or email the same dispatch information that the driver receives. When the dispatch information changes, you can dispatch all contacts for a trip together.
Support trips are not intended for dispatching multiple loads together as part of a project. We have an additional feature planned for Q3 for multi-load projects that will enable this.
To enable support trips on your account, navigate to Settings > App Settings > Organization > Support Trips.
Table improvements (demo)
Saved Views Improvements
Saved views on the orders and dispatch tables now have a list of common standard saved views in addition to custom saved views. standard save views cannot be modified, but they can be used as the baseline of a new custom view
Additionally, you can now update existing saved views. And, you can now search for filters, saved views, and column fields more quickly to make Truckbase yours.
Table Quick-Edit
Quick Edit options were added to the Orders table and the Dispatch table, so you can more quickly modify dispatch information or billing information as needed.
💡Tip: Try combining some common table views with quick edits to speed up your dispatch and billing workflows.
Carrier Profile Enhancements (demo)
We've updated the carrier profile to include docs and expirations, additional fields for insurance reference information and equipment, as well as carrier tags.
Try setting carrier tags up too for searching for them while planning.
Order entry improvements (demo)
We released multiple small updates to order entry so that you can more quickly tab through the load creation page, allowing for mouse-less order entry. Additionally, we added quick actions to order entry fields so you can quickly reference customer profiles, equipment profiles, etc., in a new tab while entering orders.
Additionally, we improved the commodity entry field so that you can enter serial numbers and commodity IDs separately on a load and better manage total commodity weight vs unit weight.
Finally, we updated equipment configurations so you can now swap out trucks and trailers within a configuration and keep the spacings upon review.
Permit Management (early access)
With Truckbase Permit Management, you can now specifically add permits required to an order/quote and track the order/issuance status. Permits added to an order are automatically included in the driver dispatch.
Please reach out to support@truckbase.com if you'd like join the waitlist or set up a demo.
Estimated OS/OW Routes & Costs on Quotes (early access)
Supercharge your quoting and estimating abilities for over-dimensional freight with ProMiles routing and permit estimates directly within Truckbase.
Advanced Quoting allows you to select a list of stops, a commodity, and an equipment configuration, to retrieve an estimated route plan based on state-level restrictions with a list of permit costs and estimated additional requirements (e.g., pilot cars, high poles, bucket trucks, police escorts).
ProMiles route & permit estimates are add-on features that may have additional fees. Please reach out to support@truckbase.com if you'd like join the waitlist or set up a demo.
