How Actual In and Out Times Work
Automatic Timestamping
When a driver marks a stop as Arrived, the system automatically records the Actual in time
When the driver marks a stop as Complete, the system automatically records the Actual out time for that stop
Order Marked as Delivered by Dispatcher/Admin
If a dispatcher or admin updates an entire order as delivered, any stops that were not individually updated will receive the same timestamp
This means that if no stops have previously recorded actual in or out times, marking the entire order as delivered will set the same timestamp for all stops within that order
Editing Actual In and Out Times
Drivers, Dispatchers, and Admins can edit actual in and out times.
Driver Editing Times
If a driver needs to edit the actual in or out times because they recorded them later than they actually occurred, they can do so:
On the Trip Tab, find the stop to be updated
Click the blue Edit button next to the actual in or out time
This opens a modal allowing the driver to update the times
Dispatcher/Admin Editing Times
Dispatchers or admins can also edit the actual in or out times:
On the Trip Tab, find the stop to be updated
Click the blue Edit button next to the actual in or out time
This opens the Edit Order page
Adjust the actual in and out times as needed
Displaying Actual In and Out Times to Customers
If you want your customers to see the actual in and out times, you need to enable two settings.
Enable Customer Access to Trip Details
As an admin, navigate to Settings and click on App Settings
Find and enable the setting called Customer Access to Trip Details
This allows customers to see the trip details tab on an order, where actual in and out times are displayed
Enable Display of Actual In and Out Times for Customers
In the same App Settings section, enable the setting called Display Actual In and Out Times for Customers
This allows your customers to view the actual in and out times for their orders
