February 2026 Release Notes

Our team is hard at work delivering solutions that help your teams use their time, energy, and brain power to solve problems on their jobs. Read on for info about new and upcoming releases you can take advantage of.

Coming Soon: Trunk Tools v3

We are always working to make our construction-specific intelligence layer — what we often call the brain of construction — more capable at handling what project teams throw at it. We're happy to share that significant performance upgrades are coming in March.

Here's what's new and improved with Trunk Tools v3, which you'll experience most clearly in TrunkText:

  1. Deeper reasoning + more natural and comprehensive responses to your prompts

  2. Better understands your intent (including multi-part prompts) and asks clarifying questions when needed

  3. More structured data fields from your project management system, including Submittals and Daily Logs

With these improvements in Trunk Tools v3, you can still expect speedy answers (<10 second average increase compared to v2). If you're ready to jump right into v3, reach out to your Client Success Manager directly or click the link below to let us know you'd like to join the Open Beta!

Free Contract Review Agent

In case you missed it, we launched a free contract review agent this month! This agent assists with two primary tasks:

  1. Giving you a head start with pre-signature redlining assistance

  2. Turning contractual requirements into an actionable field operations guide your project teams can use to stay compliant

Your contract is never stored long-term and is never used to train our AI models. You can delete your data on your terms.

TrunkSubmittal: Auto-Tagged Specs for RFIs

Of the thousands of RFIs in our platform, only 35% of them have a spec section tagged. For submittal reviews, missing a relevant RFI means the analysis is incomplete at best and incorrect at worst.

Starting today, the TrunkSubmittal agent can identify RFIs relevant to a submittal review that do not have the spec section tagged — or have the wrong spec section tagged — in Procore or Autodesk.

We know submittal reviews are a pain, and it's easy to miss small details that impact the agent's analysis. With this new Intelligent Inference feature, you can unlock true automation for this process and confidently take action when the review is complete.
