January 2026 Release Notes
In 2026, we have big plans to make our platform even more valuable for your project teams, including continued improvements to our existing agents and several new agents. We’ll keep you updated via this monthly email, quarterly business reviews, and frequent checkins with project teams. We always welcome your feedback as we aim to #LetBuildersBuild.
Introducing TrunkReview
We're excited to share that TrunkReview — the first fully automated AI-powered drawing review agent — is in Alpha testing! You can sign up to be notified about our Beta release here.
Here's how the agent plugs into your workflow:
When a new revision is uploaded to Procore or Autodesk, the agent automatically detects the file and pulls it into our app
The agent compares each sheet in the previous revision to the new revision, catching clouded and non-clouded changes
The agent generates both a visual overlay and written narrative of these changes
Both artifacts are downloadable to share with your team and trades and kickstart the change order process, if necessary
All of this happens in minutes, not days, accelerating your review process by up to 85%. If you're ready to leverage AI for one of the most painful, time-consuming workflows on your jobs, sign up to join the waitlist for early access below.
Intelligent Inference for TrunkSubmittal
Last month, we introduced the first of three features we call Intelligent Inference for our submittal review agent. The first inference feature identifies the correct specification for submittals without a tagged spec or an incorrectly tagged spec in your project management system so they can be reviewed successfully by the agent.
Now, Intelligent Inference can also identify the submittal type when it is not tagged in your PMS.
Next month, TrunkSubmittal will also be able to identify RFIs relevant to a submittal review that do not have the spec section tagged in your PMS. Based on our data, only 35% of RFIs have a spec section tagged, which means many reviews are missing context that is valuable to the agent's compliance recommendation.
Together, these improvements to TrunkSubmittal significantly reduce the number of failed reviews and enable you to have even more confidence in the agent's findings so you can move quickly to send to the architect or back to your trades for revision.
Custom Submittal Type Tags
Because there are many ways to refer to the eight submittal types we support, you can now configure the TrunkSubmittal agent to recognize your team’s specific nomenclature and ensure the review runs successfully.
