Twirl does not take a percentage from the advertised payment. If the project says $135 for 1 video, we will transfer the full $135 via Lumanu or Stripe Connect automatically.

USA-BASED CREATORS: If you were to link a US bank account, the funds would be sent in USD via ACH. There should usually be no fee in Stripe or Lumanu.

UK / REST OF THE WORLD:

(RECOMMENDED) If you link an international bank account in an alternative currency (EUR, GBP, AUD, JPY etc), there's a small conversion fee (usually ~0.5% or lower) and then a mid-market exchange rate. Often, the fee is lower than .5% (and that is sent via Wise).

If you link a SWIFT bank account in USD there is ~$12 (domestic) and ~$30 (INTL) fee, depending on the bank/location. These are sent via the SWIFT network, which charges those fees (similar to a wire). These funds are sent via Wise.

Lumanu's banking system charges a fee for international (outside the US) withdrawals. The good news is that they have access to mid-market exchange rates, which means their fees are always cheaper than PayPal and other options.

However, this means that Lumanu's international withdrawal fee varies depending on the market, and Lumanu do not charge a flat fee. So, the fee is calculated in real-time when the creator transfers funds from their Lumanu account to their connected bank account.
