To set it up for the first time:
Create an account by entering your payouts page and select "manage and view payouts."
2. Set up your login information and verify/secure your account. Then proceed through a few onboarding questions such as:
The type of business you are - (this is likely freelancer or creator)
Whether you are an agent or not for your business
Profile photo
First and last names
Phone number
3. After this initial onboarding, you will enter your dashboard and see a "finish setup" button that must also be completed before you can begin to withdraw your payouts.
This setup will require:
General info
Your legal business name (if you are not a registered business, this is just your legal birth name)
Your business type:
either sole proprietor if you have not registered a business and don't have an EIN
or the legal business type you have registered as with a government provided EIN (LLC, corporation, partnership, etc.)
Your business category
If you are required to pay tax in the USA or not
if yes, there are a few additional personal information steps to complete
if no, Lumanu will ask you to complete a W8-BEN Form to creators@lumanu.com. Read this article for more support on completing this form or feel free to reach out!
You will also be directed to provide the contact information for your business' primary contact.
Your business address
4. Next, for USA creators, you will see a screen like this. Lumanu typically verifies within 24 hours.
Or for NON-USA creators, you can connect your PayPal account or bank and after your form is accepted (typically within 24 hours), your setup is complete!
