You can customize all aspects of your Atomic Essay and Deck styles easily within the Typeshare editor, here's how:

When editing an Atomic Essay or Deck, open the "Theme" panel on the left side. From here you can either:

  • Browse and apply a preset theme.

  • Or, press "Customize" to get complete control of your theme.

To customize your theme, press the "Customize" tab in the "Theme" panel (right beside the "Presets" tab).

Here you can pick a colour theme (or build your own custom theme), choose a font pairing, pick a layout, and more.

Saving as your default theme

After picking a preset, or customizing your theme, you can save it as your default by pressing "Save as Default" in the pop-up that appears at the bottom after you make an edit.

This makes the current theme your active theme for every new Atomic Essay or Deck.

Saving as a Preset

If you want to use a different theme for only one or a few pieces, just make the change you want, and don't press the "Save as Default" button. Or even better, at the bottom of the "Customize" tab, you can save your theme configuration as a preset.

To apply a custom preset, navigate to the "Presets" tab and pick the newly saved preset to apply it to just the piece you are editing.
