Sometimes you need to easily shoot off information about an active, or soon to be active order to others in your organization to communicate and plan effectively. A few common scenarios are:

  1. Letting your Warehouse or PM know an order has been processed with a vendor

  2. Double checking line items look good with your PM on an order before sending it to the vendor

Whatever your use-case, Forwarding an order in Kojo takes only a few steps, either from the Orders page, or from a specific Order.

From the Orders page:

  • Click “Options”

  • Select “Forward Order”

Or from the specific Order page "Options" dropdown:

After selecting "Forward Order" a modal will pop-up for you to enter the intended recipient’s email address and any additional information. Kojo will auto-populate the order’s PO# and Job# as the email’s subject line, feel free to change this if necessary.

You'll also note that an order event has been created in "Updates", so if you revisit the PO some date in the future, its easy to see who it was shared with, and when.

On the other end, the recipient will receive an email containing the order's details & line items. And if they're a registered user in your organization, they'll easily be able to navigate back into Kojo to view the order.
