Learn how to use tags in Warehouse to categorize your material and tools!

How it Works

You can add colored tags to material inventory items and tools. These are filterable on web and mobile for both Warehouse and Field Users! This feature can also be used for creating product categories such as “saws” or “pipe”.

Adding Tags

  1. Browse to the tool or material item’s detail page

  2. At the top of the page, click “Add Tag”

  3. Then search for the tag you would like to use and click it

Creating Tags

  1. Browse to the tool or material item’s detail page

  2. At the top of the page, click “Add Tag”

  3. Then click “Add New Tag”

  4. Give the tag a name and select the color you would like

Managing Tags - Deleting, Changing the Name or Color

  1. Browse to the tool or material item’s detail page

  2. At the top of the page, click “Add Tag”

  3. Then click “Manage Tags”

  4. You can edit or delete tags from here

Viewing Tags

Warehouse Users

  1. On web, users can see and filter tags on the material and tool inventory list pages

  2. On mobile, users can see the tags associated with items and filter based on the tags.

Field Users

  1. On web, users can see and filter material inventory tags only on the Browse page

  2. On mobile, users can see and filter material inventory and tool tags by going to Browse > Warehouse
