How to create a Public Profile on Snapchat

Enable your Public Profile on Snapchat with ease!

Updated over a week ago

Public Profiles on Snapchat allow users aged 18 and above to be discovered in the app and grow their audience on Snapchat. While every Snapchat user automatically receives a Public Profile upon registration, the choice to utilize it remains with the individual. However, it's important to note that to display your Snapchat name, avatar, and follower count on Foam, a public profile is a mandatory requirement.

πŸ“Œ Please be aware that failure to comply with Snapchat Community Guidelines may result in the inability to create or maintain a Public Profile. For comprehensive details, kindly refer to Snapchat's official guidelines directly.

To set up or edit your Public Profile on Snapchat:

  1. Tap your Bitmoji or Story icon located at the top left corner to access your profile.

  2. Tap My Public Profile and select Edit Profile.

  3. Add your location and a brief bio. Additionally, you can opt to share your follower count by toggling the respective option.

  4. Once completed, your Public Profile is ready for use, allowing you to share your Stories, Lenses, and Follower Count with your Snapchat community.

πŸ“Œ Please note that it may take several days for your public profile to update via the API and accurately reflect on Foam.
