Our Bulk CSV Import is a great tool which let's you bulk update and add customers into myne. The CSV import is a great way to create new records, update existing records and trigger automations.
How to Setup your import
Start by downloading our CSV Template here. Below we address each field.
At minimum you will need to fill out first name, last name and email to create a customer record or update an existing record. NULL values do not overwrite existing data.
First Name
Last Name
Phone
Optional
Format including country code eg 61422334455
Invalid phone numbers will be ignored
Email - email is usually unique and will create a new record per new email for a customer used
Marketing Opt in SMS - can you SMS the customer
TRUE or FALSE
Marketing Opt in Email - can you email the customer?
TRUE or FALSE
Marketing Opt in Push - can you push notifications via app to the customer
TRUE or FALSE
Birth date
Format DD/MM/YYYY
Postal code
Note: After importing, all impacted customers will be assigned a new group, the created customer group will have the same name as the file (eg: New 2025, Staff)
Once you have finalised your CSV please email it to support@myne.network so we can begin the import process for you. Once the import is complete you will see it appear on the left hand side menu as a Group under 'customers'.
Updating existing groups
If you would like to bulk update an existing group. Please ensure the CSV file includes the entire list you want in the group once as the import will override the Group's existing memberships, not just add to it.
To rename or delete a customer group simply find it in myne under Customers and click into it. Once you are viewing the group hit the '3 dots' and choose rename or delete.
Deleting a group will not delete the customers imported, only the relationship to the group.
Automations
Creating a bulk CSV Import is a really easy way to create and update records within your integrated systems. These powerful automations can manage customer records across multiple platforms.
For example, customer groups in myne will be synced as individual tags in your connected apps such as your POS and Loyalty platforms. So let's say you have our Lightspeed and Marsello integrations turned on. If you import a list called "Staff" and you want to add that as a tag across both platforms. The file name will not only create/update a customer group in myne, it will also be converted to a tag in your integrated platforms and those customer records (new or existing) will be updated.
Helpful tips:
Editing a groups name in myne will update the tags in all connected apps (remove old and add new tag with new group name)
Deleting a group will remove the old tags from connected apps
Deleting a group does not delete the customer record in myne or connected apps.
