Import contacts from Salesforce

Create target lists directly from your Salesforce CRM.

Updated over a week ago

When defining an audience, you have the possibility to import target contacts directly from your Salesforce CRM.

You can search and select contacts manually or you can leverage Salesforce's native lists (recommended.

Prerequisite: Connect your Salesforce CRM to Userled from the Salesforce integration page.

Salesforce native lists

Userled sync with your native Salesforce static and dynamic lists. You can search and select one or more lists. The contacts in those lists will then be selected as your target contact list for your experience.

Note: Salesforce does not expose the list size via its API. We recommend checking the size before importing a list to avoid accidentally importing too many contacts and hitting your usage limit.

When creating a target list from CRM lists, Userled by default monitors those lists to keep them in sync. That means that if contacts are added/removed from those lists within Salesforce, we will make sure your target contact list in Userled stays up to date.

You can uncheck this option so your list will remain static.

When new contacts are detected and added in Userled, we will generate the experience for that contact automatically. This allows you to start with smaller target lists and scale them indefinitely!

If you have configured your campaign to sync experiences to your CRM, Userled will automatically sync the experiences generated for new contacts too.

Note: Userled syncs lists every 6h.

Manual selection

When creating a new experience, you can select contacts from Salesforce. Use the search bar to find specific contacts or apply filters to find contacts matching your criteria.
