Outbound Ticket Changes - Sample Tickets

Upcoming system changes affect the outbound ticket format. Facility owners and locators that parse incoming tickets or use a ticket management system will need to make configuration changes to align with the updated ticket format.

The sample tickets at the bottom of this article can be used as a template for your system configuration. Outbound tickets follow the same format in BC, AB, SK, and MB; however, individual provincial samples are provided for your convenience.

The ticket format data schema is attached below as 2025-09-25 PCNA - BYDP - Ticket Format Structure Guide Template.

Nightly summary reports will be updated to align with system changes. A sample nightly summary report is attached below as Station Code TESTTKTS – Total Number of Transmissions for Wednesday 24 September 2025 13.

Live Testing

Once your configuration changes are complete, you can request a live test ticket from BYDP. Live testing will run from mid-October 2025 to mid-January 2026. To request a test ticket, fill out the below form titled Test Ticket Request Form.

In BC, email the completed Test Ticket Request Form to info@bc1c.ca with ‘Test Ticket’ in the subject line.

In AB, SK, and MB, email the completed Test Ticket Request Form to info@beforeyoudigpartners.com with ‘Test Ticket’ in the subject line.
