Can I customise a metal V1CE card?
Yes, V1CE metal cards are customisable, but with one important rule: metal cards are laser-engraved in gold or silver only. The base card colour and finish options are shown on the V1CE metal NFC business cards product page. What is listed there is the complete current catalogue. No other base colours, finishes, or engraving colours are possible.

What you can customise on a V1CE metal card:
Base colour and finish: choose at checkout from the options listed on the metal product page. Those are the only base options.
Engraving design: your logo, name, contact details, and any text you want engraved.
Engraving colour: gold or silver only. No other colours are possible on metal.
What is not possible on metal cards
A few things are not possible on V1CE metal cards:
Full-colour printing: metal cards use engraving, not printing. Multi-colour or CMYK designs cannot be applied to metal. Choose a PVC or bamboo card if you need a full-colour design.
Photographic images: the engraving process does not support photographs or photo-realistic images.
Engraving colours other than gold or silver: there is no option for blue, red, white, or any other engraving colour on metal. Only gold or silver.
Custom base colours not on the product page: the base options listed on the metal product page are the complete catalogue. V1CE does not produce metal cards in colours or finishes outside that list.
I want a "black on black" or single-tone look on metal
If you want a black-on-black look, or any look where the engraving colour is the same as the base, that effect is not achievable on metal because the engraving is always gold or silver. For a true black-on-black design V1CE recommends the Black PVC card instead. PVC is printed (not engraved), so the design colour is fully controllable.
How to order a customised metal card
To order a customised V1CE metal card:
Go to the metal NFC business cards product page
Choose your base colour and finish from the options shown
Complete checkout
In the design portal, upload your logo and any text you want engraved, plus an engraving colour preference (gold or silver)
V1CE's design team creates a mockup for your approval
Once you approve the mockup, the card goes to production
24K Gold cards
V1CE's 24K Gold-plated card is a limited-production, application-based product. It is not orderable directly through the standard checkout. To request a 24K Gold card, contact V1CE support and the team will send you an application. Once approved, you receive a custom payment link and a portal for uploading your engraving file at high quality.
Can I mix metal and non-metal cards in one order
If you need a mix of materials in a single order, place separate orders or contact V1CE for a custom quote.
How durable are metal cards
Metal cards are the most durable option in V1CE's range. They resist scratches, bending, and daily wear far better than PVC or bamboo.
