Changes to my V1CE page aren't showing when someone taps my card
If you have edited your V1CE page on the dashboard and the new version shows correctly on your computer but tapping the card opens the old version on a phone, this is almost always a browser cache issue on the phone, not a V1CE save problem. V1CE pages update the moment you save in the dashboard. The recipient's phone is showing a cached copy of the previous page. A hard refresh on the phone, or waiting a few minutes for the cache to clear on its own, fixes it.
First, confirm the change saved on your end
Before troubleshooting cache, confirm the change actually saved on your dashboard:
Log in at app.v1ce.co on a different device or in a private browsing window.
Open your V1CE page.
Check that the edits appear and the page is published, not in draft.
If the change does not show on a clean session of your dashboard, it did not save. Go back to the page editor, re-apply the edit, and click Save again. If it still does not save, contact V1CE support.
Force a refresh on the phone seeing the old page
If your change is saved and visible on your dashboard but the tapped card on someone else's phone shows the old version, that phone's browser is caching the old page. Ask them to do one of the following:
iPhone (Safari): tap the address bar, then tap the reload icon while holding it. Choose Reload Without Content Blockers. Or close the tab and re-tap the V1CE card.
iPhone (Chrome): tap the three-dot menu, then Reload. Or close the tab and re-tap.
Android (Chrome): tap the three-dot menu, then Reload. To clear the cache fully, go to Settings, Privacy and security, Clear browsing data.
In all cases, the simplest fix is to close the tab in their browser, then tap the V1CE card again. The fresh tap opens a new tab and pulls the current version of your V1CE page.
Test it yourself from a clean device
To confirm your V1CE page is showing the latest version to new visitors:
Borrow a phone that has never tapped your V1CE card before, or use a private browsing window on your own phone.
Tap your V1CE card or scan the QR code on the back.
Confirm the latest version of your V1CE page opens.
If the new version appears on a clean tap, everyone tapping your card from now on will see the updated page. The old version only persists on phones that already had your page cached.
How long does the cache take to clear on its own?
Typical browser cache TTLs for V1CE pages clear within minutes to a few hours on their own. Most cached versions are gone within a day. If you want the change reflected immediately, force a refresh (above) rather than wait.
My change saved but a clean device still shows the old version
If your change is saved in the dashboard and a clean device still shows the old version, contact V1CE support with:

A screenshot of what's appearing when you tap the card.
V1CE engineering can investigate whether there is a publishing or sync issue on the back end.
