Easily locate events using filters

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Filters feature helps users quickly find relevant events by narrowing down results based on specific criteria. Whether you're a project manager searching for unassigned events or an installer looking for events assigned to you, filters make event management more efficient.

By default, the Events and Time Schedule pages only show active events (Learn more about event statuses in this article) with one of the following statuses:

  • Not assigned

  • Assigned

  • Active

  • Awaiting approval

If you want to view events with statuses like:

  • Completed

  • Not Completed

  • Completed – Issues

You’ll need to use the Status filter to include them manually.

Users can filter events by:

  • Assets

  • Client - the list of your Projects and Assets will display only ones that relate to the Clients you selected.

  • Custom Properties (Plus plan)

  • Date Range

  • Event type

  • Flags

  • Imported

  • Incidents - Available on the Events page, this helps you filter based on Incidents:

    • Without

    • With open

    • With closed

  • Invoices

  • People - Available on the Events page, this lets you filter by roles like:

    • Event Owner

    • Collaborators

    • Assignees

    • Custom Roles (Plus plan)

  • Period - This lets you filter Events and Projects based on a time range.

    You can choose combinations like:

    • Last / This / Next

    • Day / Week / Month

  • Project

  • Shortages

  • Status

You can apply multiple filters at once. To clear the filters, click on the cross near the selected filter.

Search in Filters

You can search across filters and inside specific filter lists:

  • Click + Add filter, and use the search bar at the top of the filter list.

  • Start typing — the search kicks in after one character.

  • No need to press "Enter" — results update automatically.

  • Works with custom properties too (ignores event type labels when searching).

To clear the search, just delete your text with backspace.

Once filters are applied, users can create Saved Views to quickly access the same filtered results without manually reapplying filters each time. For more details, check out the article on how to create Saved Views.
