Adding a new asset to the client's card

Step-by-step instructions on adding a new asset to a client's card

The Assets tab in the client drawer allows you to add and manage assets associated with a client.

Steps to add the new asset:

  1. Open the Client Drawer

    • Navigate to the Assets tab within the selected client's profile.

  2. Tap "Add New Asset"

    • Click the "Add New Asset" button to begin the process.

  3. Choose if the Asset is fixed or moving

    • Select whether the asset is Moving (Vehicle) or Fixed (Location).

    • You can modify this selection later if needed.

  4. Select the Asset type

    • Choose the appropriate asset type.

    • If you need adjustments to asset types, please contact us to explore available options.

  5. Enter Asset Details

    • Asset ID (Optional): You can enter an ID for easy identification.

    • Asset Name: Provide a name for the asset.

    • Use the "Copy Name from Address" button to automatically set the name based on the address field.

  6. Add Contact Information (Optional)

    • Enter a phone number associated with the asset (e.g., manager or driver contact).

  7. Add Access Instructions (Optional)

    • These instructions will be visible in the event details for all assignees.

    • Provide guidance on how to reach the asset, who to contact, and any other relevant details.

  8. Enter the Address

    • Use the "Search Address" field, connected to Google Maps, to quickly find and add an address.

    • Once selected, fields such as Street, City, State, Country, and Postcode will be auto-filled.

    • You can manually adjust any field if needed.

By following these steps, you can efficiently add and manage assets, ensuring accurate records and seamless access for your team.
