The Related Events feature helps you quickly see all events connected to a specific project and asset. This makes it easier to track the history and context of what has happened at a location or within a project.
Where to Find Related Events
Open the event drawer.
Go to the Info tab.
Scroll to the Related Events section.
This section is always visible, even if no related events are available yet.
The event you currently have open will be marked as “This event.”
How Related Events Work
Events are considered related if:
They belong to the same project.
They are linked to the same asset (location).
Requirements to See Related Events
Project required: If no project is added to the event, you’ll see: “Add this event to a project to see related events.”
Asset required: If a project is selected but no asset is added, you’ll see: “Add the asset (location) to this event to see related events.”
No matches: If both a project and asset are added but no related events exist, you’ll see: “There are no related events for this asset (location) in this project.”
Sorting of Related Events
Related events are shown in chronological order by start date and time, with the most recent event appearing at the bottom of the list.
Related Events and Connected Companies
If your event is shared with connected companies (subs), they will also see the Related Events section.
Subs can view the full list of related events, but they can only open the events they were assigned to.
