You can link an address to a client so that when you create opportunities, projects, or events for that client, the address carries over automatically.
The Address section on the client is only visible if the Addresses feature is enabled for your workspace.
Selecting an address on the client
You can link an address to a client so that when you create opportunities, projects, or events for that client, the address carries over automatically.
Note: The Address section on the client is only visible if the Addresses feature is enabled for your workspace.
Open the client from the Clients page.
On the Info tab, find the Address section below the Client owner field.
Click the Address name field to open a dropdown of all existing addresses.
Select an address from the list, or type to search by name or location.
Once selected, the Address section fills in with the address name, address ID, full address, phone, and access instructions.
Creating a new address from the client
If the address you need does not exist yet, click + Add new address at the bottom of the dropdown. This opens the standard two-step address creation form. Once saved, the new address is automatically linked to the client.
Changing or removing the address
To change the address, click the Address name field and select a different one. To remove it, click the X button. Removing the address only breaks the link between the client and the address. The address itself is not deleted.
How the client address carries over
When you create an opportunity or project for a client that has an address, the address field auto-fills with the client's address. You can override it or clear it before saving. This saves time when most of a client's work happens at the same location.

Not currently. A client can have one linked address. If a client has multiple locations, you can create separate addresses on the Addresses page and link them to individual events or assets instead.

No. Changing the client's address only affects new opportunities, projects, and events created after the change. Existing ones keep whatever address they had.
